ive found a very good friend in the girl who sits beside me in my journalism class. we got together to do a photo assignment for class yesterday and i knitted a little thingy while she took pics of me doing it and then i gave it to her as a little gift and she LOVED it?? like it was maybe two rows by fifteen stitches of some scrap yarn but she tied it to her wallet like a good luck charm and then offered to have me over to her house to cook a traditional chinese meal for me (she’s a foreign exchange student from shanghai) and i just??? shes the sweetest person i love her

i discovered a MASSIVE bruise on my elbow earlier and i have no idea where it came from but not in the usual way. like this thing is Large you’d think i’d have noticed if i was like. punched in the elbow.

anyways today ive deep cleaned my entire room and my “foyer” and both “bathroom” rooms in my suite and made my bed and did the dishes and rearranged a little bit and holy shit who knew a nice fresh space could have a positive mental impact. i feel like a new woman. besides this fucking bruise. also my hands are so dry now from all the clorox wipes

classes are going pretty dece 👍 went to a study abroad fair on thursday which was kind of awkward but i might be interested in maybe doing a summer internship at some point idk.

all in all im just. so ready for hockey to start. pleas give me back the cold stick game. im so bored of watching bardown and relistening to ycdt.
