Revisions review
Hm, it appears I forgot to write my thoughts on Revisions on the last post. probably cause I finished it and didn’t count it? yeah. netflix upping their anime game!! i heard lots of people thought it was bad cause the ‘weird’ animation. like bro that’s 3-d not 2-d i thought it looked good for a 3-d anime. the actions were good, seemed pretty realistic at times. why do people hate on 3-d so much???? it only sucks when it’s ‘integrated’ into 2-d.
i spent 2 days bingeing the last ten episodes when i realized they’d all been released already. i was surprised by how good it actually was! i went into it thinking it’d be kinda weird/ not good. but no. i was surprised in a good way. revisions is a good anime, despite what people may say about its animation.
i know people really hated daisuke because all his bullshit about destiny, but i think that was the point... at first i too thought he was a typical ‘i gotta save everyone’ protag but like... he went way too far with it sometimes. i think that made him a lot of a better character- he went crazy with his desire to be a hero and protect everyone, when no one wanted him too. it was annoying, yes, but that was the poiNT! he caused problems in the story because of his bullshit!
all the killing by the Civilian at the beginning surprised me too, like there was a lot more blood than i’d expect, it was ‘darker’ than i expected, but that’s all good! made it more realistic. and btw, milo is hot. she gave me zero two vibes.
i was sad about keisaku and all that. i think it was kinda hinted at tho before it happened. like... he made a good last villain and all that and by god that nicholas guy pissed me the FRAUCK off i wanted to march in there and rip his ugly grin off his ugly ass face my god...
the antagonists were pretty realistic too, they had good motivation, and all that. i didn’t expect chiharu to die that easily tho but like yahoo! that was good. and kuroiwa and muta’s deaths were also terrible but important to help the plot. hated muta tho. he was a good bad guy. you know a bad guy’s rly bad when ya just hate their guts, amirite? yeah. poor kuroiwa.
i’m giving it a 9/10 . it’s good. if you can get past daisuke’s bitchy ass, it’s good.
