Медео (казахский Медеу — поддержка; опора) - это не просто каток где можно весело провести время, а целый высокогорный спортивный комплекс на котором было поставлено более 120 мировых рекордов. Сам комплекс был открыт 5 февраля 1951 года. Расположен в 30-40 минут езды от города Алматы, на высоте 1691 метр над уровнем моря. Уникальность данного катка в том, что чистейшая горная вода для заливки льда способствуют достижению высоких результатов в конькобежном спорте.

Также Медеу это высокогорная селезащитная плотина высотой 150 метров. С неё открывается красивый пейзаж на горы. Но чтоб это увидеть, нужно подняться по 842 ступенькам здоровья вверх. И это того стоит! Иногда по ним проходят даже забеги.

Для меня Медео - это отправная точка по разным направлениям в горах, будь-то Бутаковский водопад, Водопад Горельник, Октябрьская пещера на леднике Богдановича или же Ворота Туюк-Су и т.д. Вариантов куда пойти открывается большое количество. Также тут проходит канатная дорога Медео - Шымбулак и можно подняться на высоту до 3200 м.н.у.м.

В день съемки была снежная и облачная погода, что создало картинку белоснежной сказки в горах. Из-за холода съемка прошла быстро, думаю по моей речи в видео это заметно. Но кадры всё же удались. Приятного просмотра!
