THE CULT OF MAKUTA MORTRAX

Hello again to y'all, first, happy holydays to all of you, second, i finally have some new stuff to show here (well, "new stuff" for some :v), i flesh out more one of the factions of a story of Bionicle i'm writting. Without further stuff to say, hope y'all like them

Starting from the bottom of their ranks, to the big boss, we have:

FOLLOWER OF MORTRAX

First of, we have the normal follower of Mortrax. They only saw that the only way to survive in the island that Mortrax controls, it's to be with them, but that can vary to follower to another. A friend help me out with their color squeme long time ago.

MODULAR ANDROID

Second in the chain, goes with the Modular Android. Created by Mortrax are fully mechanical,and it can change it's configuration, to their lower parts, to it's armament. I made almost all robots normal lego bricks, to make it more of a difference to a Bionicle, i felt that it would be easer to see the difference.

DRONE MC 82-99

Another of the creations of Mortrax, is the Drone MC 82-99, that can detach all of it's armament to fly at high speeds. It was based in the VF-19 from Macross Plus, and a MQ-9A Reaper Britanic drone. The name comes from the musician "MACROSS 82-99" that my friend told me.

MECHA-CULTIST

One of the more curious henchmen of Mortrax, is the Mecha-Cultist, that it's more of a cyborg version of a cultist (you can see their brain in the back of it). It's based on Robo-Cain from Robocop 2.

RAHK-VA COMBO

Other one it's the Combo of a Rahkshi, with a Vahki, mostly it's use by Mortrax when they feel that something it's going a bit out of hand in a territory. This was made before, because i like the color yellow, but i saw i could fit it a bit in the story.

MAKUTA MORTRAX

At last, Makuta Mortrax, the ruler of one of the islands. They prefer to use more of a beastly from. Uses their mechanical genious, instead of Rahkshi and powers. The true is, they one of the weaker Makuta, but compared to a Matoran, they are crazy strong, so they have an iron grip in the island. Based on Fenrakk, and has more of a figure of a weird dog and cat.

.Well, that would be all for the moment, i hope i can get more Bionicles in the future, my uni and work were really heavy, but i'm done with them for the moment, so i have a bit of a free time. Hope y'all have a great year, adn see you next time.

As a bonus, ima trow one of my first mocs i did in my life. I remember doing it in 2022 i think, really early for me, i think i improved a lot in a short time :v

Ukraine is now calling for THAAD air defense system, F-18 fighters, MQ-9 drones and helicopters

The latest list of U.S. weapons that Ukraine says it needs to fight the Russian military includes sophisticated air defense systems, F-18 "Hornet" fighters, drones, Apache and Blackhawk helicopters, according to documents seen by Reuters.

Officials from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense presented a “arms list to meet the needs of Ukraine's defense forces” during a closed-door session of a conference in Washington on Wednesday, with the presence of government officials and defense industry executives.

The comprehensive list included weapons that Ukraine already has in stock, such as Abrams tanks and 155-millimeter artillery, as well as some weaponry, as well as F-16 fighters, drones and long-range ATACMS missiles that it has requested in the past.

But the list has some surprises, including expensive items such as C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft manufactured by Boeing and the C-130 Super Hercules manufactured by Lockheed Martin. Boeing's Apache attack helicopters entered the list, as did the Black Hawk helicopter manufactured by Lockheed Martin's Sikorsky unit.

But the Ukrainians didn't stop there. The documents show that Ukraine is also looking for F-18 Hornet fighters, three types of drones manufactured by General Atomics, including the MQ-9B Sky Guardian and the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) air defense system manufactured by Lockheed.

Ukrainians know that they must guarantee Western military aid to continue the fight.

Legislation that would provide billions of dollars in new security assistance for Ukraine and Israel was blocked in the U.S. Senate on Wednesday, as Republicans pressed their demands for tougher measures to control immigration on the U.S.-Mexico border.

U.S. President Joe Biden made the Ukrainian victory a foreign policy goal while campaigning for re-election in November 2024.

Ukraine's list reflects what would easily be equivalent to billions of dollars in arms purchases or donations.

U.S. Air Force officer and F-16 pilot is crowned Miss America in 2024

Madison Marsh of Colorado defeated 50 other Miss America competitors representing the 50 states and the District of Columbia on Sunday, thus taking the crown. The 22-year-old, second-teent of the U.S. Air Force, is the first active military to win the competition.

Before his decisive victory, Marsh, a native of Arkansas, said that the pomp "really relates a lot to the military because you are serving, but in a different way".

“When I wear my uniform, I serve and represent our country,” Marsh said. "When I put on the crown and the band, I'm serving, representing my community."

The USAF quickly congratulated her, noting that "Marsh is currently pursuing her master's degree in public policy at Harvard Kennedy School through the Civil Institution Program of the Air Force Institute of Technology, which falls under Air University".

The Air Force added the hashtag "AimHigh".

Marsh is attending Harvard Kennedy School with a Harry S. scholarship. Truman. She credits the Air Force Academy, where she graduated in physics, with the help to turn her into a leading candidate.

“I don't think I would have entered Harvard if I hadn't gone to the Air Force Academy,” Marsh told Crimson. "I think I would never have become Miss Colorado without the Air Force Academy, because they trained me and improved my leadership."

Earlier this month, the Air Force Academy shared photos of Marsh, who obtained his pilot license at the age of 16, next to a glider, with the caption: "From the flight line to the spotlight". During the talent part of the finals of the competition on Sunday, Marsh recalled the joy and suspense of his first solo flight.

Before studying at Harvard Kennedy School, Marsh worked as an intern at Harvard Medical School, looking for ways to use artificial intelligence to detect pancreatic cancer, and as an intern at NASA, researching gamma-ray explosions, according to Miss Colorado.

In addition to his studies, Marsh is also a black belt in taekwondo.

After his victory, Marsh wrote in an Instagram post: "My mother - this is all for you".

Marsh founded the Whitney Marsh Foundation after his mother succumbed to pancreatic cancer in 2018. As president of the foundation, she raised more than $250,000 for cancer research.

Marsh, previously crowned Miss Colorado in 2023, indicated that she intends to apply her knowledge to cancer research and apply it to her political diploma, “trying to translate them to ensure that we are enacting policies that are equitable for all patients.”

The crown comes with a $60,000 scholarship and an opportunity to travel through the U.S. as a Miss America ambassador.

The mayor of Colorado Springs, Yemi Mobolade, noted in the X: "Madison, @CityofCOS wishes you great success. You inspired countless girls to dream big and reach the stars. Congratulations!"
