This 100%. The majority of people have their eye on the people that they think are at the top, and I did too. But the more obvious it got that they were pushing the nwo, the more blatant it became, it started making less sense. Because remember, these bloodlines, the dark money, the REAL controllers and heads of secret societies (and there are so many people do not even know of) have been moving into position for centuries. Not a few decades....centuries. They have dug deep into every single aspect of society and have been guiding the direction back to another tower of Babel. One luciferian gov, money, and religion. So why all of a sudden, in the past four or five years do they just come out and throw it all on the table? Because it's part of the plan.

Looking at the Knights Templar, "history" says they got taken down by a papal decree, majority rounded up and killed, and that was that. But we know that's not totally true because while many were killed, the leaders went to Scotland and helped to form the Scotish Rite Freemasonry of today. And, the papacy has since "apologized" (in a sense) for that and more or less said that the satanic claims about the templars were wrong. So what really happened? Take that same concept into today. Are freemasons about to take a "fall" along with the other globalists that we see all over social media?

Albert Pike said that freemasonry would provide the hero. All this has been prophesied, and that hero is not going to be what people will think he will be.

"Luciferin Towers" by Godspeed You! Black Emperor really is one of the most beautiful albums ever made. Soundtrack to a revelation about how much everything has to change. The center cannot hold. It is not holding. It is crashing and we have to get people out of the way.

We can't just let chunks of it fall on our heads. The crumbling structure has to come down. We need a plan to do so safely. Every brick we take off is one that can't fall. There's so much hope in that. If all of us work to remove one brick each we can make so much progress.

All without a single word.

House Tarn was old, noble, and down to exactly one member who towered over you where you knelt at the base of his throne. Command chair. Captain’s seat? You weren’t sure of the terminology as applied to space-craft..

“Lord Megatron,” you kept your helm down, optics to the ground and one knee flat, “our fleet reports moderate casualties accrued from the enemy forces, but ultimately we have been successful in driving them back and destroying the Bridge allowing them to access the Luciferian Sector.”

“And Straxus?”

“…Remains well seated my lord.”

Throwing shadows over you, Megatron stood and stalked to the window with hands clasped behind his back. You knew this because you’d stood as he had, following protocol, and watched for any signs of summoning.

“You’ve done your duty well, but I wonder if maybe Lord Straxus has perhaps earned a…change in scenery.”

“My Lord?”

Megatron turned and offered an outstretched Servo. Naturally as venting, you closed the distance and allowed him to cup your chin.

“What would you do for me, commander?”

“Anything, Lord Megatron.”

“Would you turn on your own superior, commander?”

You blinked, and the words spilled out faster than your processor could fully analyze them.

“You…want me to turn on you? I don’t under-“

Oh.

Megatron’s optics flashed with mirth and he barked a laugh. Your field turned to flustered static, but you struck the proper salute.

“Lord Megatron, House Tarn, rightful Liege of all Decepticons, I would dispose of any and all obstacles to your will regardless of personal affiliation. My fealty is absolute.”

Megatron’s grin softened and his opposable digit stroked your cheek line thoughtfully.

“You truly are my most valuable asset,” he rumbled, “before I make up my mind as to Straxus’ fate, perhaps I should reward that ‘absolute fealty’ of yours.”

Your sparkbeat quickened, and you reset your vocalizer several times in order to dampen the audibility of your eagerness.

“If it pleases my lord I will accept any grace he would bestow on his loyal servant.”

“Wonderful.”

And in just a few motions he had danced you to the throne and bent you over the seat. Your aft he massaged and teased only briefly before your panels slid away. It was with pride you noted that your spike had already fully pressurized without your having given away how desperately you had begged the universe to align this way. For your lord and ruler to use you how you ached for him to.

“I had a feeling,” Megatron murmured in your audial as he lined up the buzzing pressure you knew to be the swollen nodehead of his own spike, “Well, you have served me well. Beyond competently, commander. I think it’s time you were given a rightfully earned promotion,” he trailed a digit up the underside of your spike, “ah, yes indeed commander. Just once let yourself have a little indulgence. It would please me, after all, to hear you praise your true sovereign. Especially as I don’t intend to make it easy for you to vocalize much more than static.”

And on that, he entered you with the force of a hurricane.

Discography Deep Dive: GY!BE

Part 1: Introduction

In their nearly 30 year history, Godspeed You! Black Emperor's contribution to the experimental/post-rock genre is nothing short of canon. The long sprawling tracks of gritty drones, anthemic oceans of guitars, soft touches of strings, poetic incorporation of field recordings all undergird moments of transcendent melancholy and even...hope.

In this first of what I hope to be an ongoing writing project called Discography Deep Dive, I explore the sonic and aesthetic world of these not-so-quiet Canadians. After listening to each record at least twice I came up with a rubric of sorts that places how each album fits within the overall canon of the 8 records I discuss. The criteria I use are specific to what I find to be specific to this band's particular compositional and orchestrational techniques.

Rubric

On a scale from 1-5 I use the following criteria with prompts I think about when looking through each lens: -

Mixing: How well is sonic balance achieved between the foreground, middle ground, and background textures? How well is the balance achieved between the different instruments (this is especially true when string or brass instruments are involved)? In such tracks that have field recordings; I ask how well are they incorporated into the overall mix.

Pacing: How does the pacing of ideas occur within each track? I'm especially listening for how the repetitive layers build to climactic points and/or when the remains static without much movement toward climactic moments. Is there a perceived consistent internal logic behind transitions between and ideas? Is there a balance between repetition, contrast, variation, and transformation.

Track ordering: This has to do more with narrative structure. All GY!BE heads will know right away, that what makes their work so engrossing is the compelling ways in which they move from one track to another. I ask if the track ordering is well-balanced, or in cases where there seems to be unbalance, are there sonic/artistic reasons why this happens? In a way, how do they play within their own meta-narrative of long-form developments through repetition -

Orchestration and texture: This component easily blurs with the mixing element. However, I am curious how each album manages to gain variety AND uniformity of texture. A balancing act that is required by the very sonic universe they inhabit.

Melodic ingenuity: This one came to me late in my assessment. But, as I've listened to each record now a few times, I've come to realize that there is A LOT more melodic/riff-like material than is heard on first listens.

Aesthetic consistency: There is no denying that GY!BE is its own aesthetic/vibe. From the downbeat of nearly every track, those who traverse in the post-rock world know straightaway: THIS IS GODSPEED!! However, each album All of these criteria seem to encapsulate the musical world of GY!BE. I am not comparing each album to broader musical genres, but rather how they hold up within the album itself and inside the complete discography.

Based on this rubric, here are the rankings:

He thought he could hear the chirping of some avian, drawing far through the Force, high and trilling. 

Ah, what was it? The lorreks are singing indeed.

“Come, Savage,” He called to his brother. “There is much to be done.”

lift yr skinny fists is probably the godspeed album i have listened to the least along with luciferian towers but it's finally sticking in my head and heart the way their other albums have at various points in time. I love when I find music and its not quite the right time for me to love it and then it finds me again when it's time.
