Internet Issues

Yadda yadda, you know the drill... technical issues means problems for going online and, as a result, a slowdown of updates.

Fal said he would continue writing using his schedule during this period, but until he can go back online reliably he probably won’t be able to update any of his fics in the coming future (most notably of which is Shining Sunlight). So instead, should this cause him to miss one or more update days, he said he would be updating the chapters weekly until he is caught up with the biweekly update schedule again.

20 - Post a snippet of a WIP you’re working on.“It really has been a while...” Lisa found herself thinking out loud, her own voice shaking her out of her thoughts. Instead of wandering in her mindscape, Lisa focused on what was important to her at that very moment. And that would be who was standing in front of her with her arms crossed and a frown on her face.

Under any other circumstance, Lisa might have laughed at the sheer irony of the situation she found herself in, but today was no such day. Instead, she closed her eyes and let the gentle breeze embrace her like a mother would cradle her child.

Feeling the corners of her mouth curve up and her eyes beginning to sting, Lisa took a moment to regain her composure before focusing on the person in front of her.

22 - How many drafts do you need until you’re satisfied and a project is ultimately done for you?...There’s never a “done” status for stuff I write. They do eventually reach a point when I can confidently say that I have done the best I could at that particular moment in time and that usually comes after like... the fourth draft, maybe?

31 - Hardest character to write.Had anyone asked me this a couple months ago the answer would have gone to Saten Ruiko. Nowadays, however... I think it has to go to Asahi Rokka... she is... a lot harder to get down than one might think...

32 - Easiest character to write.I want to say Aoba Moca. I really want to say Aoba Moca. Another part of me wants to say Mitake Ran or even Hazawa Tsugumi, but... fair’s fair, it’s Silver from PokeSpe. I don’t write him anymore because I left that fandom for good, but back when I still wrote him he basically wrote himself in my fics. Even to this day, I haven’t found someone who I can write as easily as that redhead.

45 - Worst piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten....hehehehe, aside from all the flames as l won’t be counting those... 

I still wonder what went wrong in that review or if they were just a troll and/or bot send out to fill up review count ^^’

Ouch... who are the characters you don't want to see on that screen on your opponent's side? - LZ

I would have to say either Kuroko or Kaori… the K-curse is real…

Kuroko’s ability prevents you from being able to see where she is attacking from (which also makes avoiding her quite difficult). One of her combo attacks is even one where she just teleports all around you and attacks you from all sides… there isn’t really a defense for that…

Kaori has an attack that hits you for many minor hits, but it slows you down considerably so you can’t run away. She can even use that time to get closer to you and deal even more damage.

Having said that, though, if I were given the choice… I would prefer fighting Kaori over Kuroko despite Kuroko typically having lower defenses. Kuroko’s teleportation is just nowhere near fair in this game… which is okay as long as I am using her, but when the opponent is…

There are other characters that I would prefer not seeing (Accelerator post-Sisters and Itsuwa in particular), but of the characters that I really want to avoid… there are only two…

This made me so happy you have no idea MomentThe first fight between Accelerator and Musujime Awaki was pretty epic in my opinion, just because it showed how far one of the two had come. The other one would be when Accelerator unlocked his powers and went beyond his limits…

Saddest MomentProbably the end of Index II episode 24, just because it left on such a cliffhanger and we had to wait for years to get the next season in… argh!!In all honesty, though, I probably have to say the second entry in “worst character death”… that one hit pretty hard…

Yeah… it is not something that will get as much attention as others, and it may not even reach the people I am trying to reach, but… it is something that I feel needs to be done and needs to be published.

I am about 2/3rd done I think? It’s almost at the 5k word mark (admittedly, with 200-ish for AN), so I think it is going decently enough… I know I won’t be able to finish the actual writing tonight but I hope to maybe get close enough to the 6k mark where it doesn’t matter anymore…

If you hop on I can show segments of it already if you want. I could use some advice for it…

Hahahahaha XD you seriously got attacked by horde of security robots already XD? - LZ

In my defense, it was not my fault! I activated that quest where I had to take care of some Skillout thugs so I was busy focusing on that. I didn’t realize the quest had already ended and a security robot just waltzed by, so I accidentally punched it in the face. Which, for some weird reason, it did not like so it decided to attack back.

So in an act of self-defense, I kept punching it in the face with a nerfed Imagine Breaker until it finally… sunk through the ground and disappeared into nothingness. This, of course, did not go unnoticed by the other security bots and the cycle began anew.

It started out with just one… then it became three… then seven… and all of a sudden I was boxed in when nine of those bots had surrounded me (in addition to two random girls who I think are from Judgment but couldn’t tell in the heat of the battle).

I literally ran in a very Touma-like fashion XD There were so many of them that I had to use that Index teleport thingy to get to safety…

It’s… quite funny if I think back about it now, but it was an experience I would rather not experience again…

No, I didn’t. I mean, I knew of the different outfits and whatnot that you could pay for, but I didn’t know that we could customize the colors of the outfits themselves.

You got Hyouka?! Aww... well, how is she? - LZ

She is awesome!! I was originally upset a little when I didn’t see everybody’s favorite level 5 (yes, Railgun and Meltdowner and Mental Out, step aside), but oh well… apparently, he is pretty difficult to control? Or so I’ve heard, at least.

Hyouka, on the other hand… she’s pretty slow, both in movement and in attack speeds, but her damage output is amazing! She also plays in a pretty interesting way. You know her Fuse form? She can transform into that and wreck havoc in the area. Her regular form just fights a little to build up a meter, and when it reaches at least 50% you can transform.

And her Fuse form is INSANE!! Like, I know that the other characters also kind of attack in a decent range horizontally, but it is just so much more menacing when Hyouka’s Fuse form does it…

She can’t keep the form for long, however, and she will gradually lose points in that meter that you build up to get to her Fuse form over time. The only way to get it back is to keep wrecking havoc, but it is a fight against the clock.

She’s a slower Touma in her regular form, unable to use any skills aside from her ability to transform into her Fuse form, but when she does… she is terrifying…

Hyouka isn’t anywhere near the top of my favorite list, I will admit, but she is awesome in this game!
