THEY WERE FRIENDS THEY WERE PARTNERS THEY WERE PROGRAMMED TO HATE EACHOTHER ok ok ok ok but this is also a really fucking important for sabretooth cuz usually his character is portrayed as WANTING to be in the weapon x project, but this moment shows that after all these years hes finally gotten sick of it and just wants out of it. for context, the weapon x project is STILL GOING and they recently captured sabretooth and gave him new memory implants to further inspire hatred for wolverine, like theyre still actively fucking with him.
