So can I take a moment to talk about how Rei and Kazuki are essentially in a QPR? They’re two people who are explicitly not in a romantic relationship however they still live together (at first due to convenience but then seemingly by choice later on), are raising a child together, and are shown repeatedly to have a close emotional bond and trust in each other. Their relationship explicitly blurs the lines of a “normal” friendship. This is literally the definition of a QPR

Obviously they didn’t label it as that in the show so we can’t say that that’s what it is. But their relationship does feel very queer platonic in nature and I’m here for it
