By the time Iseul comes back to the house with Oscar, her niece Cam is home from school. Iseul washes up before pulling Cam into a hug. "Hey Cammy, how was school?" She asks. "Okay, a little boring but not too bad." Cam says, shrugging. They talk, and Iseul gives Cam a spare key to her place. "So if you want to see me on a Saturday evening but I'm not home, you can just let yourself in and chill til I'm there." Iseul says, and Cam smiles, hugging her auntie again. "Thanks auntie Is." She says.

Plus, Iseul makes some garden lovers pizza for herself and the family. It finishes cooking, and she places a platter of it on the table, and everyone grabs a plate and chows down. Cam's on her second plate when she spots her auntie's shirt and grins. "Auntie Is, do you really need a shirt to tell everyone you're gay when it's obvious*?" She teases lovingly. "Hey, its a cute shirt that I found at a store and needed." Iseul grumbles, but she laughs too. "Jokes aside, I like it. Maybe I'll borrow it from you one day." Cam says, wiping pizza grease off her mouth with a napkin. "You already took my favorite leather jacket, Cammy. At least let me keep some of my wardrobe." Iseul jokes, and Cam grins as Iseul reaches over to tousle her hair.

It didn't feel like Harvestfest with just the four of them, so I had Cam invite her sister Cece, sister-in-law Hanh, niece Nguyệt, aunties Iseul and Grace, and her maternal grandparents who are technically in Mt. Komorebi but you know. 😄

Cam hugs her niece Nguyệt, who's already aged into a toddler, and then greets and hugs her aunties. "I like your bracelet.” Cam says, and Grace grins. “Thanks, your auntie Is made it for me and I made one for her. She’s so sweet.” She says, giving a sappy look to Iseul, who grins. “I wouldn’t say she’s sweet per se, but it’s a nice bracelet.” Cam says jokingly as her auntie Iseul gives her a playfully grumpy look.

Piper and Min Jun hug Iseul as well, and then the group heads inside. Piper talks with Nguyệt and Cam’s heart melts a little as she sees Piper’s amber eyes light up as Nguyệt babbles to her, and the soft voice she uses with her. Cam glances at her auntie, who’s grinning. “What?” She asks. “Nothing, I just think it’s sweet how much you love Pipes.” Iseul says, and Cam blushes. “I do. It’s corny, I know, but I just love her so much and I fall for her more everyday*.” She says. “It’s not corny at all, Cammy. I feel the same about Gracie.” Iseul says, and Cam smiles.

Iseul and Megan chat awkwardly with each other and Cam's gaze flits suspiciously between them. She wonders if they'd had a fight, like the ones she had with her best friend Casey where it was awkward and then they'd make up and it'd slowly get less awkward, but decides not to ask.

Megan smiles at Iseul, who feels a surge of guilt as her heart beat increases. “So, how are you and Gracie doing?” She asks cautiously, not wanting to say anything in front of Cam. “Good, you and Tess?” Iseul asks. “Good too, and I’m glad to hear that Issy.” Megan says, a note of relief in her voice. There’s a slightly awkward silence, and Cam jumps in. “So, aunties, what have you guys been up to?” She asks. “Oh, we’ve both been busy so we haven’t hung out.” Iseul explains calmly. “Yup.” Megan says, her cheeks pink as she looks at Iseul. Iseul feels another stab of guilt. She wonders if she and Megs can ever recover from her pretty much confessing her feelings and be friends again, and hopes so.

Megan doesn’t know what to think or feel now about the whole situation either but she just wishes Iseul would talk to her. Cam goes to get a drink, and Megan hesitates before getting up and sitting next to Iseul. Iseul stiffens, and she scoots a little away, taking a long sip of her drink. “Issy, can we please talk?” Megan asks in a low voice. “Sorry, I think Min Jun’s calling me,” Iseul says, getting off the couch and rushing out of the living room without a second glance back at Megan.

Megan sighs but puts on a neutral face as Cam comes back into the room with a drink for Megan. “Hey auntie Megs, where’s auntie Is?” She asks, handing over the drink. “She went to help your dad.” Megan says, taking a large sip. “Thanks Cammy.” She says, and Cam nods, scanning Megan’s face. Megan looks sad and tired, and Cam wants to ask what happened but doesn’t want to overstep. “Are you okay?” She asks gently. “Yeah, I’m fine, just tired.” Megan says, and Cam senses the lie but doesn’t say anything. To take Megan’s mind off things, she goofs around with her and asks how work is going, and how Tess, Emily, Safiya, and Amir are doing. She also makes some cheesy jokes to make Megan laugh, which works.

After that, Megan and Iseul are in very flirty moods, and Iseul kisses Megan’s lips before nuzzling her neck. Her niece Cam is behind them and she makes a horrified face upon seeing all that. “My once innocent eyes. Umma can you believe it?” She grumbles to her mom, who laughs. “Sorry Cammy. Your auntie Megs is so beautiful I couldn’t resist.” Iseul says, grinning. Cam snorts but smiles. The guests have some more pizza and cake (and pancakes cause there’s always that sim who takes leftovers from the fridge 😅) and then dance for a bit before starting to head home. Megan checks in with Iseul, kissing her cheek. “Did you have a good birthday, baby?” She asks. “Yup, it was amazing getting to spend time with everyone. Pardon my cheesiness but the best part was just being with you.” Iseul adds, and Megan blushes before smiling.

Later that afternoon, Iseul and Megan’s family members come over to celebrate Iseul’s birthday. Megan changes into a cute dress she'd bought at Simsa while Iseul changes into the shirt she'd bought on a trip to Sulani, plus M. Megan grins as she sees Iseul. "I thought you didn't like wearing colorful clothes?" She teases. "I like it occasionally and its technically black with colorful leaf patterns, plus I'm the birthday girl so I have to be fancy." Iseul adds jokingly. Megan laughs before pulling her into another kiss as her mom playfully grumbles behind them.

Mia and her girlfriend Rory are in a lovey dovey mood too, and Iseul cheers them on literally in-game as they kiss. She's a very supportive sister-in-law to Mia, I guess. 😅😄

But anyway, Iseul blows out the candles and ages into an adult and I have Megan age up too cause I don't want to wait til Winter just to have her become an adult sim. "Hey, blow out your own candles." Iseul jokes as Megan leans down and blows out two still lit candles. Megan grins as she swipes some frosting* with her finger and eats it. Iseul flushes as she watches Megan "What?" Megan says, batting her eyes innocently, and Iseul laughs.

Cam then gifts Iseul and Grace their presents. Grace gets a cute succulent plant that she can put in in her office, and she thanks Cam before safely putting it away in the guest room where she'll pack it up. Cam then gifts Iseul a red grim figurine. "Thanks Cammy, it'll look nice on my coffee table." Iseul says, grinning.

Plus, Grace shows off her ring* to Min Jun and Cam, who ooh and aah over it. "Nice." Cam says, eyeing the gem. "I hope I don't sound too sappy, but I'm so honoured** to join your family and you all have been so lovely and welcoming." Grace says, and Min Jun, Paenji, and Cam all smile. "We were waiting for my sis to finally propose so you could officially join us." Min Jun adds playfully and Iseul grins. "Seriously, Grace, we thought of you as part of our family since Iseul introduced you and now it's just official." Paenji says warmly, and Grace smiles, her eyes tearing up. "Thank you, Paenji." She says. "Yeah, you're one of us now, auntie Grace which means we can roast and tease each other. Plus, I'll teach you curses and jokes in Korean and you'll teach me some in Urdu." Cam says, and Grace laughs. "I'd like that, Cam." She says.

Cece comes back down from her room to join the family, and she squints at her auntie Megan's neck. "Auntie, is that a hickey?" She asks loudly, and Megan blushes as she glances down and sees that the concealer she'd put on it had smudged off in between using the bathroom and sitting on the couch. "No, it's something else." Megan tries to lie as she covers her neck, exchanging a look with Iseul, who grins. "What's a hickey?" Cam asks, and Cece glances at her mom and dad before saying. "It's when someone, um, kisses you a lot in a way and it leaves this mark." Cam makes a horrified face. "Auntie Is kissed auntie Megan's neck? Gross." She says and Iseul blushes. "Hey, it's not gross, she's my wife." Iseul adds playfully. "It is to me and Cammy. No offense auntie Megan, we love you and auntie Is but we don't need to see all that," Cece says, and Cam nods emphatically. "Anyway, what did you guys do in Tomarang?" Paenji asks Megan, wanting to move past the subject and Iseul and Megan tell the family about visiting the the Sulea tiger sanctuary, and the fish markets, and visiting temples and so on.

Min Jun and Paenji tell Megan and Iseul to stay the night in the guest room so they can rest, and they agree. Iseul snuggles up to Megan in the guest room while Paenji snuggles up to Min Jun in their room. Cam and Cece aren't sleepy, so they stay up in Cece's room and goof around and tease each other.

Iseul and Megan are back home in Copperdale, and they head to Iseul’s brother Min Jun’s house. Iseul and Megan greet their family members, and while Iseul goes inside, where a very excited Cam greets her, Megan waddles* past the two of them, trying to hold it in. “Hey Cammy, it’s nice to see you. Let me just use the bathroom and I’ll be right back.” She says to her niece as she passes her. Cam grins at Iseul, who grins back. “Auntie Megan is silly as heck.” Cam says. “Yeah, she is.” Iseul says softly, a goofy smile on her face. Iseul then hugs Cam, and gifts her a mysterious box she got at the night market, and then she and Megan sit with the rest of the Kang family in the living room.

It was finally time to age Cam and Piper up so I could send them off to Foxbury. Technically Cam turns 18 in June and Piper turns 18 in October but I was like let me just age both of them up into young adults together.

Cam’s house is a bit more spacious, so I added Piper to the household and threw a party with the household members as hosts so I could invite a bunch of sims. I invited Piper’s moms, brother, aunties Megan and Tess, cousins Emily, Amir and Safiya, as well as her grandmas and grandpas on both sides, and her great-grandma Alicia and her partner Dani. For Cam’s side, it was her parents, (I think her maternal grandparents too), her auntie Iseul and Iseul’s girlfriend Grace, her sister Cece and Cece’ wife Hanh.

Iseul chats with her brother as he makes the cake for both teens and she tries to tamp down on her sappiness. “It seems like just yesterday you and Paenji called me to the hospital when Cammy was born, and she was this tiny baby, and now she’s turning 18.” Iseul says, smiling as she thinks back on holding her niece as a baby at the hospital, joking how tiny and potato-like she was, and being sappy as heck as then-baby Cam wrapped her hand around Iseul’s finger as she held her. “I know.” Min Jun says, blinking rapidly to stop from crying. “My little girl, and now she’s going to college.” He says and Iseul nods. “Appa, auntie Is, save the sappiness for the day you guys drop me off at my dorm.” Cam calls playfully from the dining table, where she’s sitting with her mom, Paenji. “Oh, your dad and mom and I are going to be crying that whole day.” Iseul half-jokes, and Cam rolls her eyes but smiles. She feels sappy as well, knowing she’s going to go and live at Foxbury that coming Fall semester. It’s scary as heck, but a good change.

All the guests arrive, and Cam and Piper both blow out the candles on the cake, and age up. This made me sappy as well, and I was like 🥺 as I took the photos. 😊

Meanwhile, Tess chats with Paenji and Min in the living room. She grins as they tell her more goofy stories of Megan from college. "I'm going to tease her forever about this, thanks Paenji." Tess says as Paenji finishes recounting a cheesy story involving her, Min Jun, Iseul, and Megan on a double date. Plus, Min Jun asks Tess more about herself. Tess tells him and Paenji about growing up in Willow Creek with her two moms and 4 siblings, and cat Bob, and how she met Megan in Selvadorada and they fell in love and got married. "I knew she was the one a couple months in." Tess says, her light brown eyes lit up as she recalls sitting on the couch with Megan and her two kids Safiya and Amir and looking at Megan and just knowing she wanted to marry her. "Aww man, thats sweet." Min Jun says, smiling as Tess tells him of how she asked Safiya and Amir if they were okay with her proposing to their mom and after getting their blessing, she used the ring her grandma had gifted to her and had proposed to Megan. "We got married, moved in with Luna and Chrissy, and had our third nooboo Emily a year later. She's the love of my life." Tess says softly, and Paenji exchanges a sappy look with her own love of her life, Min Jun.

The two families then have dinner together, and then the adults hang out while Emily spends time with the Kang's dog, Oscar and then sits and chat with Cam, who's dating Emily's older cousin Piper. Emily still has a bit of a crush on Cam, but thankfully it's fading and she doesn't turn as red when Cam smiles at her as she did before. "So, you excited to go to 8th grade next year?" Cam asks. "I don't know, it seems kinda scary cause everyone is graduating and going to different high schools and such the year after." Emily admits as she twists her friendship bracelet. "It'll be okay, Emmy. Maybe you'll end up at a high-school you really like with your friends. Or you'll make new friends there, like I did with my friend Casey in our first day of 9th grade, and now we're best friends." Cam says, smiling at Emily. "Yeah, maybe." Emily says, smiling back at Cam. "Are you nervous to go to college?" Emily asks, and Cam nods. "Yup, definitely, I haven't been away from home for longer than a few days. But I'm also excited and happy to be dorming with Pipes." Emily grins. "Oh, Pipes feels the same, believe me. She's always singing love songs about you around the house, it's annoying and cute at the same time." Cam laughs. "I'm sorry Emmy." She says, but Emily waves her away. "It's all good, I'm going to miss her when she's not here though, even all the cheesy songs she sings." She adds, and Cam grins, patting Emily's shoulder.

Nguyệt aged up into a toddler in the main save, and Cece and Hanh took care of her, feeding her dinner before Cece tucked her into bed. “Goodnight, nooboo.” She said, smiling as she knelt to kiss Nguyệt’s forehead.

The next day, Cece’s family including her parents, sister, and auntie Iseul came over to spend time with her, Hanh, and Nguyệt. “Hey Noonoo.” Cam said, smiling softly at her niece. “Hi Cammy!” Nguyệt said, blowing Cam a kiss, which made her smile as she pretended to catch it. Plus, Nguyệt spent time with her grandparents, who fawned over her and told her how big she’d gotten. “You were as small as a potato the last time I saw you!” Min Jun said to her in Korean*, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled at his granddaughter, who giggled.

Cam got up early the next morning, and was excited to look out the window and see a decent amount of snow on the ground as well as snowflakes still falling. She grinned and headed to the kitchen, deciding to make brownies for breakfast since she was craving chocolate. She grabbed a brownie mix from the pantry, gathered the eggs, butter, sugar, and water, and started cooking. She mixed all the ingredients, put the pan in the oven and waited for it to cook.

She sat down with a plate of one still hot from the oven, just as her mom came downstairs, yawning and still in her bathrobe. “Cameron, what the heck?” She asked playfully, eyeing the platter of brownies and her daughter’s face as she gleefully bit into the one on her plate. “I was hungry so I made brownies.” Cam said through a mouthful. “I see that. You’re just like your appa, you know. He would also get into a sudden hungry mood and bake desserts at the crack of dawn, and I’d wake up to brownies, or apple pastries, or banana bread.” Cam smiled. “Yeah, I can see appa doing that.” She said. “Only have one brownie for now, cuddle bug, and then I’ll make eggs and toast.” Paenji added, patting Cam’s cheek. Cam grumbled good naturedly at the childhood nickname but nodded. She finished her brownie, put away the rest, and cleaned up her plate.

The snow had slowed to a few flakes, so Cam bundled up and went outside to make the first snow angel of the wintery season, a tradition she usually did with Cece and/or her auntie Iseul but since they were both busy, she decided to make this first one by herself. She carefully got up and sent a photo to her group chat with her family, and then one to her girlfriend Piper, who was awake by now too. “It looks just like you, Cammy. 😂😘” Piper sent back.

Cam showed these photos to Piper as well. “I like your hair back then, Cammy, and you look so cute.” Piper said. “Thanks, I had to grow it from a bowl haircut my mom decided to give me at age 5* and it took so long.” Piper laughed. “Oh my gods, I bet you looked so cute with a bowl cut.” Cam winced but smiled too. “Honestly, it wasn’t too bad.” She admitted.

Plus, Cam showed Piper two photos of her hugging her auntie Iseul. “I remember this.” Cam smiled. “Auntie Is came back from her 6 month stay in Windenburg, and as soon as I saw her, I lost my mind with excitement and jumped onto her in a hug and wouldn’t let go.” Piper smiled too. “Okay, this is super cute.” She said, looking closely at the kid version of Cam with a big smile on her face, her eyes closed, as she hugged her auntie tightly. “I told her I wouldn’t let go because then she’d leave again, and she had to promise she’d stay as long as she could and mom finally got me to stop hugging her so she could sit down.” Piper laughed. “Nah, I get that.” She said. “When auntie Tess and auntie Megan came back from their two week honeymoon, Hamuera and I were so clingy and wouldn’t leave them alone for even a minute.” She smiled at the memory and Cam smiled too. “I understand.” Cam said. “It’s good that you’re so close to your aunties like I am to auntie Is. This is random, but she was the first person I came out to as gay, although I guess I always sort of knew before then. My mom and dad told me as a kid that she liked women, and I remember telling her one day when I was 12 that I liked girls, and she hugged and supported me and talked with me about it. Plus, she took me to get ice cream and let me talk about my crush on a girl in my class back then, Alice, and gave me advice and such.” Piper smiled. “That’s really sweet, Cam.” She said. “Yeah.” Cam smiled. “Also, it was nice to have her be there for me when I was discovering my style and what I liked, and feeling like I was butch like she is, and she took me to her barber and took me clothes shopping and I felt confident and more like me.” Piper nodded, smiling at her girlfriend. “Aw Cammy. I hope it isn’t too cheesy, but I love the you that you are and I wouldn’t have you any other way.” She said, and Cam blushed before smiling back at her. “It isn’t, and I feel the same, Pipes. I love the way that you’re always so colorful and bright and girly.” Cam said. Cam took Piper’s free hand in hers and stroked it with her thumb, making Piper blush this time, as she flipped to another page.

Cam showed her a photo of auntie Is telling her and her older sis Cece a story. “She goofed the ending, and Cece and I teased her, hence her embarrassed face.” Cam said. Piper grinned. “I can imagine.” She said. “Plus, Cece kept asking her when she was going to marry a lady so we could get another auntie, and she got so sheepish and I joined in on the teasing.” Cam smiled. Piper laughed. “Honestly you guys were relentless.” She joked.

The dinner party started, and Grace and Iseul arrived. Cam and her parents greeted the two of them before they sat down and started talking. It was a bit awkward at first and Grace was a little shy but she opened up and talked to Min Jun, Paenji, and Cam.

Cam's eyes lit up when Grace mentioned the lab she works at has a robotics department. "We have tours a few times a month, so I can put you as my free guest for the next available one." Cam grinned. "That'd be amazing, thanks Grace." Grace smiled. "No problem. Issy told me about your interest in robotics and engineering and I think it's great." She said, and Iseul gave Grace what Cam thought was a sappy but sweet look. It made Cam happy to see her auntie happy, especially since she knew it had been hard for her to see her ex Megan again after so long.

Grace had to head back to her apartment to check on her dog Mellie. She thanked Paenji and Min Jun for having her and said she'd had a great time and hugged them and kissed Iseul's cheek before leaving. Then Iseul chatted with her brother and sister-in-law and Cam took out the trash. She stopped by a leaf pile to play in it and hear the leaves crunch and took a photo for Piper, who was at a big family gathering at her great grandparents Paolo and Ava's house along with her moms and brother, grandmas, aunties Hailey and Tuyên, and uncle Carson. "Nature's ASMR." She added jokingly and Piper sent back a laugh emoji and a photo of a dessert, adding. "My bisnonno (great grandpa) made tiramisu and it looks so good." Cam smiled and texted. "Okay, now I'm jealous and want tiramisu." Piper sent back, "I'll ask him for his recipe and make you some." And Cam replied back. "I can't wait for that, and to see you again. I haven't kissed you since Wednesday afternoon and it feels like forever." Piper sent back. "Same here, but I'll see you Saturday or Sunday hopefully. Okay I've got to go spend time with my family. Love you, Cam, bye 💘." Cam smiled. "Bye, love you too, Pipes 💞." She sent back. She tucked her phone back into her jeans pocket and walked back home.

Meanwhile, Iseul goofed around with her sister-in-law. "Grace is so amazing." Paenji said, smiling. "So why is she dating you again?" She teased lovingly, scrunching her face in a dramatic thinking expression. "Haha." Iseul said, but smiled too. "Jokes aside though, Is, Min Jun and I really like her. She's lovely and I like the way she makes you happy." Iseul blushed. "Yeah, Grace is beautiful and sweet and she makes these dry humor jokes I love and she goes from like sweet and nerdy to cursing like a Simlish sailor. We're taking it slow, and I want to be serious with her eventually, but there’s no rush." Paenji grinned. "Oh Is, that's great. You're like a sister to me and seeing you happy makes me happy." Iseul smiled and tried not to get too sappy or teary eyed. "You're like a sister to me too, and thanks P." Iseul said, hugging Paenji.

The next day was Harvestfest, and also the first day of snow in Copperdale. Cam saw snowflakes drifting by her window, ran outside and grinned widely at the sight before heading back inside to change into her thermals, jacket, hat (gifted to her by Piper so they can match. She headed back inside after a couple of minutes to help her mom and dad prepare the turkey, and then set out plates. Her sister Cece would be spending this Harvestfest with her fiancée Hanh and Hanh's family, but auntie Iseul and her girlfriend Grace were coming over. Cam was excited to meet Grace, since Iseul raved about her and it would be nice to have a second auntie in the family, and Cam’s parents were even more excited. Min Jun was happy to see his baby sister happy, and Paenji was happy too. She knew it had been hard on Iseul to see Megan again, and was glad that she was moving on with Grace and found happiness with her.

Also Cam ended up having an angry mood swing in the middle of setting the plates and went up to her dad to ask for advice. He calmed her down, and told her to take a breather. Cam nodded and she grabbed a glass of orange juice from the fridge (she felt like it always improved her bad mood), and sipped it while sitting at the table and watching her mom and dad prep the rest of the ingredients before starting to cook.

Piper and Cam headed to Cam’s house. They chatted with Cam’s parents before heading to Cam’s room and Cam’s mom and dad headed to theirs. Paenji and Min Jun woohooed, and then headed to bed.

The next morning, Min Jun made waffles for the family and Piper, and Cam got up first, yawning as she greeted her dad. “What did you make, appa*?” She asked. “Pumpkin spice waffles with maple syrup.” He added, grinning. “Piper will love them.” Cam said, smiling as she grabbed a plate. “She was born on October 31st so she loves all fall and Spooky Day things.” Min Jun smiled. “You can’t stop bringing her up, can you?” He teased. “Dad!” Cam said, but added. “No, I try but it’s like I can’t get her out of my mind.” Min Jin smiled softly. “I was, and still am, like that with your mom. Marrying her, and having you and Cecilia, were some of the best parts of my life, Paenji is my best friend and love and everything.” He said. Cam smiled too. “Okay, don’t tell anyone I said this, but I hope me and Piper can be like you guys one day, you know married and happy and still madly in love, even though it’s cheesy as heck.” She added teasingly. "That’s sweet, Cammy.” Her dad said. “And I won’t tell anyone, but I’ll definitely keep it in mind to tease you with later.” He joked, and Cam groaned playfully just as Oscar curiously came up to see what his humans were eating and if they’d share it. Min Jun gave him a plain piece of waffle, and Oscar scarfed it down while Cam and her dad laughed.
