breeds of horses i feel like the disco elysium cast would own

KIM KITSURAGI:

he would go for something lanky, something real tall, honestly, but not a draft horse. maybe something like a hanoverian or the classic thoroughbred.

hanoverians are very high maintenance horses imo (or, at least, the one i work with is, and i will talk exclusively about her for this segment) like. total sweethearts with the unchangable, unquenchable urge to bite you. but they really really don't want to, because you've trained them well, but they still let the intrusive thoughts win sometimes. you can't be mad at them, because none of their bites actually hurt, but you do need to bop them on the nose and tell them very firmly "no!" and i think this man's authority stat would help quite a bit with that. aside from that, they're very well tempered and lovely! and they are REALLY gorgeous horses. like SHEESH. their coats are so shiny and lovely, for real. even after rolling!

JEAN-HERON VICQUEMARE:

he'd have an asshole pony. sorry, it is simply canon. it'd probably bite him and everyone around him, as well as pin its ears at every horse that dares cross the path of it. his stirrups would have to be extremely long due to the contrast of height. despite this, it would be well taken care of and (mostly) happy. it'd prolly be an arabian. they're lovely horses personality wise but GOD his would be such a prick.

HARRIER DU BOIS:

Either a draft or other burly breed. Something that is reliable, trustworthy, and calm. something that can TAKE his bullshit you know? so either a percheron or an american cream draft (first image is a percheron, second is an american cream draft)
