Dani: depends on the period.

Jorge to Izaskun: I need to be the interviewer

Dani: if you can accept it (retirment). Now I'm great, but for example when I started to race too because you are accomplishing your dream.

Jorge; but you (but could be seen as we a in riders in general) were under lots of pressure

Dani: yeah. But it was also because of our period/time. You surpassing that goal, that wall, that barrier (Jorge became the second Spanish rider to win a tittle in the big category after Álex Crivillé) and we had to do it no matter what. We had that pressure.

Marc to DAZN:

For him Diggia was the one to get the seat, but he is okay with Luca, and it's the most likely to get it. (His name reached the box).

He conforms their good relationship, and apparently they have to put things aside (I'm guessing racing in the same category vs the Mac-Vale relationship).

Jorge was and is in love with Dani. The absolute prove.

Okay so this is a preview from ‘Cuatro Timpos’ and they are discussing about rivalries in the Paddock/MotoGP. But look at Jorge staring and looking at Dani.

So here Dani says that they (Jorge and him) didn't like each other. Jorge smirks and becomes sarcastic. Everyone laughs at it like it’s a joke. Izaskun says ‘Now  understand everything’ and Jorge goes back to saying ‘we didn’t like each other’ and he seems a bit pissed.

So I think Jorge like/love and has always liked/love Dani.

Seriously, from the 3 current commentator, Checa is my favourite by far, he is just like us and I need him in my life . He went 1 day early to the airport for the Indonesian GP. While commenting Chantra’s great season, he invented he won a race in the wet, and when corrected he kept saying it was a wet race. Once he was in the pitlane, heard the Moto3 bikes and went ‘Oh I need to be in the commentary area’ and then procede to keep talking with Aspar or with Sito or someone else. He arribe 10 minutes late, told the story and he was proud of it.

After this mini ranting, this is just what I expected, DAZN talking about the MotoGP/500cc history with some of the Spain most important riders. But it makes me mad because Checa was in the promo. And when it was presented (in Valencia post race programme), Checa said he didn’t know he was supposed to be doing it. (Izaskun made fun of him because of that) DAZN what have you done to my himbo?

I just realized something, Dani hated every moment of the interview with the exception of talking about tracks action and his battles with Jorge.

Izaskun, Aspar and Crivi had to force Dani to talk, but he seems to lose himself when talking about the aerodynamics or how it was competing against Marc, Vale, Jorge, etc. I think this is still so on brand with Dani, but also give a lot to think about what type of commentator he will be.
