completed ori and the blind forest. that was. frustrating ... i really disliked the 'intense' moments. i think if you want a level to feel intense but also difficult you have to be A little more generous with checkpoints.. when you have to restart the whole sequence for the 10th time because something random flew from outside of the screen the whole level doesn't feel blood pumping it just feels extremely tedious. im generally of the opinion that its either difficult levels where i can take my time or intense levels where i FEEL really excited and rushing but its not so difficult it becomes tedious. like... the parts of the game that were supposed to be cool and climactic are probably my least favorite parts just because of how tediously difficult they are. and most of the time i don't even feel like it was my fault i failed. because a lot of the movement feels like you have to basically already know the whole level to execute the movement in the exact precise pixel-perfect way the game wants or you will just not make it. idk in the later parts of the game i was just begging for my suffering to end. i think i may have enjoyed the game more if i just explored instead of doing the story. but i already feel sour and tired from it. okay so basically. in most games after i've completed it i feel like i've gotten better at it and i even want to see everything the game has to offer. if i really like a game i want to replay it with my new skills. but here i literally don't feel like i've gotten any better because the levels feel so unfair? well the art and the music are absolutely gorgeous so theres that.

Unseelie have to make an appearance but it's really do I go with the logical outcome for Bal ruling or do I go with a hard left idea....decisions are hard. I'm always why not both. But they cannot really be the same timeline.

thinking about the family shit in ghosts and decided to make them into a ragtag group of cousins in modern day or whatever if that makes sense! it’s basically them anyway though so this might be me just describing them normally lmfao i tried?
captain: constantly talking about ww2, everyone had a group discussion to let him come out when hes ready and share knowing looks whenever he says a sus phrase, protective of kitty and draws with her even though he cant draw to save his life
julian: constantly yelling rude jokes and ‘your mum’ jokes, gets them into trouble and stopped by adults because hes so vulgar, everyone is TIRED, besties with robin, everyone makes fun of him for never winning chess
robin: wheeze laughs at julian’s your mum jokes, tries to convince everyone about batshit conspiracy theories, randomly tackles the others in bear hugs and nobody is safe from him, tells everyone tips on how to win chess
mary: tries to find out everyones zodiacs and gives everyone necklaces with stones, confused by julians jokes, plays hide and seek with kitty often,
kitty: draws large pictures of everyone together, gave everyone glitter cards once and nobody can escape the glitter it is EVERYWHERE, adults love her and gives her sweets and everyone else begs her for them (she shares obviously)
humphrey: sits on his own in the corner most of the time and tries to join in conversations when he can, mostly forgotten and sits with the adults most of the time, once they were playing hide and seek and they forgot about him :/ when hes included he loves it
fanny: reports them to the adults most of the time, complains constantly about julians jokes, when kitty drew dante for her she literally almost sobbed,
pat: the peacemaker, makes sure everyone has activities to do, part of the scouts with the captain and after learning skills teaches everyone else as well despite nobody absorbing the info, if pat isnt there everyone is fucking lost nobody knows what to do and the house burns down
thomas: everyone is begging for him to shut up about alison from his school, always takes the spotlight from other people but not on purpose, he recites his poetry to them against their will but after having a laugh they actually give good critic
bonuses:
francis and eleanor: literally have been banished to sit with the adults, everyone hates them and gives them the middle finger when the adults arent looking, everyone protects kitty and thomas from them
annie: everyones VERY suspicious about mary’s friendship with annie but can never come to a definite conclusion about whether they are together or not, she joins in and slanders francis and eleanor just absolutely roasts them
