My fandoms of choice shall be Miraculous Ladybug and The Owl House

the character everyone gets wrong

Miraculous -- Marinette. I understand why people can be annoyed at Marinette at times but at the end of the day, she's doing her best. She's had to stop the end of the world singlehandedly multiple times and has enough anxiety to kill God.

TOH -- Eda. I mentioned this earlier but Eda really only has two kids and adopting them was more of a hostage situation than a willful adoption. She doesn't go around adopting every child she lays eyes on (even though this is something I really like in fanon).

For this show, it's a bit hard to gauge how certain characters are interpreted incorrectly because of the cancellation and causing character arcs to get nuked

part of canon you think is overhyped

Miraculous -- I think Kuro Neko was overhyped. I love the episode but what I think it doesn't help this episode's case is that it's sandwiched between other major/largely important episodes.

TOH -- I love Huntlow just as much as the next guy, and I definitely think that it's worth the attention is gets but the line "You didn't make anything worse, you didn't do anything wrong! You guys mean the world to me, and I… I didn't know how to say that yet." gets a bit too much attention as a Huntlow moment but it's definitely more of a Emerald Trio moment.

common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing

Miraculous -- There's too many complaints about how this show focuses too much on romance. My siblings in Christ, this is a romantic action show. Of course the show focuses more on romance and shipping, that's how this works.

TOH -- So sick and tired of Huntlow antis. I understand not liking a ship but I swear, some of them act as if they're the most oppressed people on planet Earth. Not to mention, now that Hunter and Willow are confirmed to be bi and pan, the new arguments about how they're straight passing are killing me and is actually the main reason why I'm temporarily stepping away from going through the TOH tag at all. I've been in a lot of fandoms in my life and the Huntlow antis are definitely some of the worst antis I've ever had the misfortune of coming across. There's so much queerphobia and borderline racism with some of their anti posts and I'm so tired of it.
