AAAAAAAAAA I ALSO HAD A STRAY X RAIN WORLD AU IDEA LIKE THE DAY AFTER STRAY CAME OUT or it was the exact day, can't remember exactly , either way please tell me more about the au! I like learning about other people's aus and comparing them to mine :)

I love that people had the same thought I did.. Stray and Rain World would just work so well with each other!!

I might rewrite some aspects or make another version that's more focused on ALL of the aspects of Rain World..

Admittedly, my current AU is a LOT more Iterator-companion focused!

Basically, Sliverists in THIS au are Outsiders! Same for majority of Iterators. Sliver of Straw was a Companion who escaped, resulting in small groups of Companions that want to follow in her footsteps.

For the cast of the current AU, the local group of Iterators are the main focus. They live in Midtown!

Pebbles starts getting pretty edgy in his beliefs on how to escape the city, and when Moon reaches out in concern, an argument sparks up.

Eventually, their argument turns to Pebbles calling for sentinels and accusing her of attempted escape, resulting in Moon getting taken away.

The others in the local group are devastated, and Pebbles is shunned for the most part (save for Suns and Grey, who still try to reach out)

NSH begins to isolate..

Until he finds a red cat. This is where the Hunter comes in.

He creates a backpack with a sort of drone/mini robot known as an Overseer (this idea came from copperyourcrow!) which replaces B12.

He sends the Hunter into the prison to assist in Moon's escape.

It's discovered though that she was unfortunately rebooted, and so the local Iterators who live in Midtown have to help her as she's forgotten a LOT of stuff.

More models of the backpacks are created by more Outsiders, and eventually two OTHER cats, Survivor and Monk, fall into the city and happen upon these, eventually finding the Midtown Iterators and going on to open the city with Hunter.

I'm still working on what the rot is in this au, where every character will be, and so on!

This AU will be added to when Downpour comes out, along with if any more ideas are given! I'm very happy to hear that people are interested in my AUs!

I plan to make a fic on this in the future, but for now I'm writing a crossover fic where the Iterators meet the Companions!
