Me, after Daisy’s interview: Friendship ended with Sequel Trilogy, POTO is my best friend now (Seriously Reylo was like 70% of why I found the ST interesting after not caring about SW for my entire life, so if that’s not going to be a part of TROS because something-something-toxicity, then why care? I’ll spend my time in chiller fandoms that have 10-minute dirges about sex in a musical literally titled Love Never Dies, at least that’s for-sure canon.)

but j/k, because I think Daisy’s answer there is just an awkward and poorly considered attempt to be diplomatic and ~objective about ~concerns while leaving the door wide open with the obvious suggestion of ‘duh, it happens; stories have obstacles and they’ll be overcome’. Very similar to her previous pre-TLJ comment ‘acknowledging the discussion’ which was awkward in the exact same way. I’m not worried.
