the plain and simple:

- no communication; expects people to read her mind and gets mad when they don’t - a huge control freak, but doesn’t keep people responsible and complains that people don’t do anything- your garden-variety passagg minnesotan mom

the nitty gritty:

- she decided that she gets to go to disney world for ~2 weeks during everyone’s graduation and the time i’m going to chicago. she started planning her vacation at the beginning of the month vs me in november, and graduates since before the last school year ended, probably- kinda personal beef but she asked me if i wanted an extra shift to get some overtime before i go to chicago. ofc i agreed because money, and she gave me. a whole 2.5 hours. i ended up taking 5-6 since i stayed late to help during mother’s day weekend. we’ll see if i get a talking to.- on that note, she schedules every other manager but her with shitty coverage so that they have at least one person doing two jobs (she has gotten better, but really fucked us during the weekend) - she doesn’t trust any of the shift leads that were away at college because ?????????????- she doesn’t know anything. not a damn thing. i watched her time espresso machines by hitting the brew button and walking away. was she counting in her head? does she think that works? wh- also thinks she knows more than me and used to undercut me all the time, and then wonder why i was annoyed? WH- she constantly leaves tasks for people to do without telling them they need to be done (or if she does, she doesn’t tell them they’re time-sensitive)- missed two milk orders in a week and would have missed the third if the agm (beth) hadn’t said anything- when the milk order finally came she decided to do dishes for an hour and a half, which means i “got” to put it away. i’m apparently in charge of all physical labor.- she took ~$40 as a pay-out from a register that hadn’t been used, thus basically creating a $40 void since you can’t take from peoples’ deposits and using the safe money would create a discrepancy there; this is especially bad since one of the old gms from last summer stole $500 AND lp was on us already because someone was letting non-employees hang out in the back room- she was hogging the computer on friday during the time i had to do the food order, so i asked her to plug in the numbers since she wasn’t interested in moving. long story short, they got fucked up because she thinks she knows better than me- re: the order: i told her to go fix it bc it was her fuckup and she’s upset that i’m holding her accountable. or that i got upset because she fucked up? stop being upset that other people are upset because you made a mistake.- we ran the fuck out of eggs at like 6 this morning and couldn’t do a thing because she decided we didn’t need any. on a friday. before mother’s day weekend. before mother’s day weekend bogo. 10/10 lern 2 lissen 2 me- the fridge door fell off like a week ago. i don’t know if she’s called to get it fixed but the fridge door fucking fell off and it’s still off and this makes me laugh and cry- actually wants me to read minds; she told me some shit about how i should just Know to bake more when i asked her to get on people about communicating with the bakers- wants to run the store like another one in the district, despite them doing significantly less business, which... no. no.- most of this is within the last 7 days, so.......................... lmao
