Now that tears of the kingdom is finish, since they said there no need for DLC, what your opinion of whole series? Like Breath of wild, age of calamity both with DLC, and side games in Mario kart 8, and super smash bros ultimate.

I would say overall I think this era of Zelda was satisfactory for me. My first playthrough of BotW was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed how quiet and subdued the landscapes were, how the land held that sense of loneliness and disquiet that could only be the product of a country stagnating under a threat that has never rested. The guardians were terrifying, and I think they still are to this day. I love riding on my horse through Hyrule, and my first time seeing a dragon was amazing. Discovering Lurelin Village was what brought me the most delight; I definitely didn't anticipate finding a seafarer village on the other side of the jungle and anyone who knows me knows I love seafaring culture. Eventide island is still one of my favorite sidequests. While its story was sparse, I think it did a fair enough job relaying the tragedy of Hyrule. BotW's story was all in the land and I enjoyed that to the fullest. TotK was a bit underwhelming for me compared to BotW because I was revisiting the same Hyrule. I really enjoyed the Depths; to me it felt like exploring the bottom of the sea. I was the insane type that explored most of it in the dark, using the light of lightroots in the distance and fireflies to guide me, and lightblooms when it got too dark to discern anything at all. I wish there had been more to do down there. I also enjoyed that Hyrule felt more alive, that people were out and about trying to study the gloom and the Depths and actively fighting monsters. I enjoyed all the stupid shenanigans Ganondorf was up to with puppet Zelda because I love a Ganontroll. The approach to Ganondorf's lair was excellent, and the battle with Ganondorf was well done (we all freaked tf out when Ganondorf flurry rushed am I right). I think I have spoken at length about the story, it kind of missed the mark for me. However, the scene where Link draws the Master Sword from the Light Dragon made my breath hitch; that was the most emotional part of the story for me, just stunning. The Master Kohga sidequest and finding the Yiga hideouts was also a highlight for me. Oh and I also loved the sidequests with Penn because they were all silly and it was fun trying to figure out if the people had misunderstood Zelda or if it was Ganondorf fucking around. I enjoyed Smash Ultimate a lot. I don't play Smash competitively so I'm not anal about every combo and up tilt etc possible, but I completed the World of Light and did complete all classic modes with all the characters. I love all the silly little shots you get with all the LoZ characters. I like to imagine that there is a world where everyone can just beat the shit out of each other and then go chill in the breakroom with the tv on or something. I do wish they would make Ganondorf more viable to use though because he's my guy and he's dead last in tier rankings he sucks so much (But getting a KO with him always feels insanely good). Love Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, that is the party game of choice in my house. Ganondorf should get in with his motorcycle too and then we'd be talking. I haven't played Age of Calamity yet (I actually have the game) but what I can say is that I think Sooga is neat. Overall, really enjoyed myself. Looking forward to the next era!

you should give master kohdah a redemption like he has in age of calamity actually is sooga even around in botw or totk even then sooga felt what the yiga did was wrong and probably wishes to have kohdah see that so the yiga can thrive as it seems master kohdah is holding to the past like all other yiga masters before him as yiga are shikah that been wronged by hyrule after the calamity but yiga were around pre calamity so....ah my brain hurts thinking of all this! @-@

God, I have such a good idea for a whole Kohga arc but I can't talk about it aaaaaaaaaaaa

I fucking LOVE how Age of Calamity gave Kohga and Sooga this fruity little dynamic, but I'd need to find an explanation for how both of them have lived this long without getting old like Impa. Because my brain requires lore reasons for everything alskfhaknd

I do know that I would absolutely love writing Kohga's interactions with the monsters. Just they see the Yiga as this threatening deadly force and then meet the head honcho and he's this silly and Deeply Unserious Pathetic Man. god,,,,,

aoc IS A PREQU3L i didn't know it was!! OH MAN THE SCENES WITH THE CHAMPIONS 😭😭 I WISH I COULD PLAY IT i wanna play totk but. i cant since my switch is broken and if aoc is on that too then 🥰🥰🥰 yay.

i'm guessing it's in the same style? oh god that'd be even better i'm like ripping a present with each ask i send,, i really liked botw so stuff related to that does get me and yeah I'll definitely enjoy the fics because u alwasy deliver <3 sadly i don't have the time rn so tomorrow or tonight it shall be yayayay— and dayum its a 6 hours difference from here lol but same for me nighttime is always better

AND i just read the. thing about feeling nervous with the fictional crushes and s a m e i thought i was the only one YAHAHAHAHA then it goes away (for me at least) as if i knew them for really long lmao. though sometimes it comes back for some reason i feel it more with the images rather than the fics (depending on the fic,,)

Dude I hope you can fix your switch soon 😭 but yeah age of calamity is in the same art style as botw, and I don’t wanna spoil anything but you get to unlock almost every single “important” character and it’s just so fun!! I love playing as Impa (she’s young in this game) and Urbosa (and then obviously Sooga but you have to get the DLC for him). Oh and then each character has little mini mission things to level up their abilities/hearts (you just supply materials you get from playing missions) and each one has a little “story” with it and some of them are so fuckjng cute omg 😭 But whenever you’re able to play it PLEASE send me updates (especially whenever you see Sooga for the first time, even if you end up not liking him LMAO) I love seeing people react to things like this lol

Also dw about rushing to read anything!! The fics aren’t going anywhere lol

Also yes with the going away and coming back 😭 like it still hasn’t gone away with Sooga yet for me, but with Law it’s like. Never there anymore. However with Levi it did come back a few times even though it’s been… 8 ish ?? years since I started liking him lol. Actually now that I think abt it seeing videos of Law in universal Japan does it?? I think that’s just bc I know it’s a real person so it feels different lol

Anyway good luck fixing your switch, I hope you can play AOC and TOTK soon <3
