Mettaton with an artist and introverted S/O

I feel that mettaton would love your art and definitely buy commissions from you, if you're willing to do so. Of course, the art is all pictures of himself (well not all of them he had you draw some family portrait with all of his cousins in it, and some of you and him. These are very precious to him 💗) oh and if you were up for it, he definitely have you design a poster for his upcoming tour.

mettaton is wonderful when it comes to interacting with introverted people (he has a lot of experience dealing with them from being around napstablook and Alphys.) he mainly always starts all the conversations, so you never really have a worry about what to talk about when he's around. and almost all of his conversations are interesting and amusing. Even the serious ones. You never really have to painc or be frustrated when it comes to talking with him because he listens to what you have to say and respond back. He absolutely despises it when people talk over you. Sometimes, he'll stop the person mid speeking that's talking over his darling and point out that you're trying to say something. "I'm going to have to stop you there dear, this is the 3rd time you ignored my darling speeking." He then turns his head over to you."You can continue speeking now gorgeous~"

On quite days where you don't feel like speaking much and you just feel like doodling, he'd join you. His little drawings aren't the best, but they are somewhat cute and silly. He'd draw on the same paper as you if you let him.

Your acts of service and words of affirmation don't go unnoticed by him. Helping him pack up all his makeup a head of time for a tour, they way you make sure he's fully charged before going anywhere and when you tell him he looks good in an outfit, he's wearing. ( of course, he knows he looks amazing, but it always feels good when your partner thinks you look good!) Or when you say I love you before going to bed or before he starts a show it always makes him smile. He loves his darling so much! 💓 you know he has to return the favor!! He would cook breakfast for you and try to make sure you're getting enough sleep. He even texts you little love notes all out through the day while he's busy. "Hello gorgeous, I hope your evening is more eventful than this meeting I'm attending. It's going painfully slow. Oh! thank you for packing up all my makeup, darling! I've been in such a rush these past weeks. everythings been so hectic, but you've been nothing but a sweetheart! 💕 🥰 I just want to let you know you mean the world to me, darling! When I get back, we should go back to that lovely little restaurant you liked xoxo~"

I love the idea of Tartufo being nice but also really sneaky. I made the joke she used the den den mushi to help her.. [because of the random call in punk hazard] and my friend followed up with: she has the black den den mushi that taps people's snail phones! Of course there is nothing sinister about it. She just wants to sneak onto the boat, lurk in raccoon form to take notes. I was watching whole cake [painfully slow might I add] and I loved the idea of the use of observation haki and opera glasses to watch the drama unfold [from a super safe distance]. My friend's oc is one of the many Charlotte offspring, which is how they happened upon the wedding.

I doodle a lot while I watch the episodes [well, until the most recent batch of episodes] So, I have a lot of reaction doodles ahahaha. During Water7 I fell in love with the Yagara. Dumb looking little babies ;w; These were from a while back~ I'm just dying for some more one pieces *dub woes*

a lighter vent/update

Dammit. App I was using to watch MLPFIM acts like it doesn't have any of it anymore, and I was tryna watch it all in order at some point. I was in the middle of the episode 'What About Discord?'.

In other news I finally made myself watch the Fionna & Cake series. It is insanely good! I just hope that the app doesn't fully crap out on me before I can show mom. She loves Adventure Time as much as I do, if not more so.

It's making me wanna draw, you can imagine(I remember the wave of content from other artists losing their shit over it. it was glorious & it probably hasn't quite stopped, only slowed lol). For now I'll be finding the time to either look for other ways to finish my favorite shows/movies, or watching everything I can While I can, though I'm not much of a 'binge-watcher' tbh. With F&C I literally had to limit myself to 3 episodes a day the first couple days, then 2 a day(they got seemingly longer/more packed near the end).

I finished it earlier today, but I process new(especially hyperfix material) info different so I'll need to watch it again sometime anyway. I wanna be able to write and draw about it ASAP, which means I might use my phone for digital doodles before I get settled enough for PC/tablet time again, or try traditional for now.

Also now I can't get the Cheers theme out of my head.

Other than that, I'm thinking about(when I get to use my PC) trying to read Homestuck again. The other times I've tried have either been painfully annoying or boring(these attempts were years apart & I was dealing w/vastly different stuff from what I've got going on now), so I figured I just wasn't ready then. I love pretty much all stories, so I actually want to try to get into it someday. If I really don't/can't, I will blame it on whatever's going on w/my brain. Like my brain just might not be made to take in that info & I have no idea yet.

Well..............

I don't know how other people do it. I'm about fed up with typesetting. I'm eight of twenty-four chapters (not counting the prologue or epilogue) in and while I want to basically bind a whole-ass private library, I'm not sure I want to typeset it, least of all on this painfully slow, barely functional laptop.

Does somebody want to help me typeset these gargantuan fics I found regarding my own personal taste in media? I found a bunch of Steven Universe fics--not sure if any of them are any good yet. I'm eventually going to look for as many classic fairy tales as I can find on Ao3--basically, I have a whole plan.

Typesetting was not part of that plan.

I think I'm going to typeset In Black Ink next, because I'm going to have to make all my visual assets myself, at least the ripped edges, and that's going to take a while. In the meantime, of course, I'm going to take periodic and much needed breaks to hunt down more fics while casually doodling my graphic novel into existence.

Anyway, whatever kind of time this takes to typeset is fine. It's probably going to take a few paychecks to get the rest of my supplies--adhesive, book press, book cloths, a few more colors of ribbon, ribbon crimps, corner protectors, paper. I still have to do grownup stuff with my money, like get cat food, human food, clothes, pay stupid bills, try to build up some kind of savings, perhaps still plan for my small little vacation.

Then, when I have my supplies in hand, I still have a whole stack of books to pierce, stitch, glue, covers to make--I'm either going to have to buy new print cartridges or get my endpapers printed for me, and my cover imagery. Tangent: I had wanted to cut my davey board for Manacled today and at least put down the adhesive and mulberry paper so I'd have an idea of where the embroidery would go, but my body had its revenge today for my abuse over the weekend. So glad that was today instead of tomorrow, since I already skipped work last Friday.

I've decided to try taking walks in the mornings before work, just up and down the stairs, maybe to the mail. I need to get outside more.
