#I had a whole fairfaxing week without d&d and then other things happened last week too

I've decided that the Gate Of Curiosity should take the form of a Christie-style mystery - there are holograms of people standing at the scene of a crime, and the players must ask the right questions and put clues together to solve it.

But I have one day to put that together in, so any suggestions for an existing story I could easily adapt to the d&d framework?

Not too long and complex, we don't necessarily have all that much time.

#the gate of freedom will involve two rooms #whichever the pcs choose to enter contains some impossible barrier (not sure what) #the right choice is to walk out and go to the other room #because if you choose wrong there's still the option to choose right next time #just need to actually do that tomorrow and the rest of the stat blocks and descriptions for pcs #I had a whole fairfaxing week without d&d and then other things happened last week too #why can I never work on this stuff before the last minute
