ok, guess which grownup fucking nerd *very* belatedly realized that she has a *bar* in her house

#it's one of those very 70s wood panel basements #and I've always intended to try for some kind of lava lamp and fishtank aesthetic #and still will but the overall Design Theme is sure gonna be 'Quark's' :) #(it is currently 'red and green train car wallpaper' pls to shoot #I don't know whether the former owners were going for Christmas on purpose or what but the dining room was frikking holly berries like wtf) #anyway I may have finally hacked how to actually use that space go me #it's a very nice space and my kid has a climbing thing next to it I just never want to go downstairs #I bet I can Nerd myself into this though #still upset that plastic/Mardi Gras bead curtains were either a figment of my imagination or just utterly stopped being manufactured though #very critical element of the ideal decor there :(
