Don’t you love how food can sometimes connect you with people that are no longer with us? I saw some of those multicolored marshmallows at the store and immediately had to get them and make ambrosia salad (not a salad). That first bite was like communing with my Meme. A little bittersweet moment but I got to share it with the kids and explain how Peggy Pirate (that’s what my kids call her… long story) how she always used to make this for every gathering and sometimes just because. I think I’ll start bringing this to gatherings from now on.
