Miraak following the LDB around desperately wanting to just hold their hand because he still remembers their grip as they pulled him from Apocrypha. Miraak watching the LDB interact with people with intense jealousy like a cat desperate for attention, staring at their hands when he thinks they won't notice. Then one day someone reaches out and touches or grabs the LDB, not in an aggressive way, perhaps even in a friendly way, but the LDB is startled and flinches anyway. Miraak is suddenly aware that their tumble from Apocrypha is the only time he can remember seeing the LDBs hands reach out to touch someone instead of being touched or grabbed by others. Is that anything? Am I crazy?
