Looking @ the sources of my thesis and sweating bullets like. Damn I’m gonna need to get a WHOLE lot better at uhhh MULTIPLE romance languages this summer or I’m well and properly boned

#I’ve taken 4 years of high school Latin. 1 year of college Italian. #and then like 1 year of French in middle school and 1 year of Spanish in middle school #so I can fumble my way through basic translations of Latin and Latin-adjacent things #hm. #also I don’t know Greek. at all. I don’t know Greek at all. gonna be a problem with the Greco part of that Greco Roman !!!!!!!! #I accept that I can’t speak Yoruba I accept it I’m frustrated by it but at least it’s not a failing on my own part #like as in it is but. like Italian / Spanish / Latin / Greek are all offered I just have either not taken them or taken them and sucked but #Yoruba was NEVER an option for me to learn bc nobody teaches it around me so I couldn’t even if I wanted to #sigh #we’ll fuckin see lads. we’ll see how this goes
