The absolute calm and complete absence of the wind, as if welcoming the life that was sprouted anew, foreshadowing the new trials amidst their measured daily routines. A half-lidded gaze wandered aimlessly over the premises of currently occupied yard, contemplating, as the divine prophet obtained an evidently unenthused expression due to drawn conclusion of own careful deliberation.

          The sound of fusuma doors beckoned his attention, nonetheless the posture of his remained unaltered, unaffected, yet every motion of the other was observed with the utmost dedicated scrutiny. He did not intend to converse, until the onmyoji extended a suggestion he was rather disinclined to employ, albeit electing to provide only a vague refusal. “There scarcely will be an opportunity or necessity, but your offer is duly noted.” The tone of gentle formality swiftly withered once the reminder jumped off the tip of his tongue, cutting mercilessly even in despite of the fact that Seimei could not prevent the robbery to occur. “However, I suggest keeping it shut for the thunderer, lest the population of your pond will significantly thin out.” Once speech delivered, he reverted to common imperturbable self, taking in the surroundings for the last time prior to premeditated departure, opting between silence and a few extra words as a sign of gratitude they did not suspect he harbored.

          Decision was concluded after a prolonged hush between the two, deliberately selected words accentuated the weighty meaning and with an eloquent emphasis Susabi eventually uttered, composed tone denoted the gravity of the forthcoming quest. “Suffice to remind you, I will be watching with the utmost interest. Whether you will remain unconverted, or succumb to the darkest whispers of your soul.” Own resolutions and actions, those which the other would implement, would be now observed and memorized within the sea of destiny.

Warrior God doesn't worry much about their mortality as long as they're around him. There's nothing Susanoo can do about the fact that he can fall in love with a mortal

He can hardly fall in love with anyone else

For him, human life lasts only a moment, but Susanoo is willing to go to that length to know what it feels like to be truly loved

Susanoo will remember s/o for the rest of his life and believe that one day they will meet again

Izanagi

Unlike his adopted son, he's more sensible and wouldn't want a mortal around, but Izanagi also can't help it with his heart should he fall in love

It will be almost impossible for him to forget his beloved, and Izanagi will refrain from serious relationships

He's a pretty powerful god and will make sure they stay with him even after death. At least Ancient God will do his best

The time this guy spends with them will be as precious to him as the time Izanagi spends raising his adopted son

Tsukuyomi

Well, it's really hard for this guy to be interested in someone seriously enough to fall in love. If he does, it's serious

He is very skeptical of this kind of relationship and generally dislikes the mortal world in that regard (but likes to interfere in some events of interest to him), as his children have found nothing good about it

Tsukuyomi's true nature is quite frightening, and it will be very valuable to him that they don't fear him at all. So perhaps s/o are willing to undergo some changes after death. Since he would either do anything to keep them with him or prefer to die with them

If he could do nothing, their deaths would echo painfully throughout his entire existence on earth

Susabi

In this respect, Susabi is like his teacher and friend

This guy will treasure every day spent with s/o, for given his specialization as a god, he is always very busy

The God of prophecy would want his partner to stay with him after death, and if that wasn't possible, he would turn them into a star so that s/o would always be by his side and watch over him

It will take him a long time to come to terms with his partner's death, even by the gods' standards. Susabi will maintain his outward calm

Long-post [part 3. Tsukuyomi]

Tsukuyomi, God of the Moon, Amaterasu's advisor (formerly) and current ruler of Takamagahara

As in reality, this guy is very mysterious or, simply put, a dark horse.

At the moment, little is known about him, except that he has become the ruler of Takamagahara and is waiting(?) for Amaterasu's return.

According to Enmusubi, she always thought he was a villain. Whereas Miketsu and Susabi did not think so. They say he never sought power.

"Amaterasu rules the land above the high heavens. Tsukuyomi rides with the sun and knows what’s yet to come. Susanoo can harness the thunder and lightning." (Interlude event Onmyoji Call-up)

Before the evil god's trial, he made a vague prediction that if any of the gods wanted to betray Takamagahara, the land of the gods would fall.

I have only one question: were all the gods suddenly dumbed down when this dude made the prediction or is the moon god just a master of twisting things to his advantage?

I'm pretty sure he wasn't in court when the massacre started because he was supposedly evacuating the surviving gods or the emissaries were evacuating him lol.

In Memory Scrolls SP Miketsu says that no matter how generous and powerful a god may be, there is no escaping Takamagahara's control

Apparently, this kind of change is now commonplace in the land of the gods.

In addition, it is now known that the gods of Takamagahara see the true gods only in those who sit on the throne, in other words, who have great influence.

I don't need to tell you that all of this clearly came about during the reign of the moon god

The other gods had previously tried to find out where Susanoo was, but Tsukuyomi didn't give any answer. In addition, Susabi literally dissuaded Miketsu from turning to the moon god for answers.

Has everyone noticed that Susabi clearly knows something and is also a dark horse? This guy understands that the moon god is not to be trifled with, and you can't go against him yet

In terms of character, we see that Tsukuyomi is calculating and cold-blooded. It is also worth noting that he speaks in a polite manner. Memory scrolls SP Miketsu hints that he gave orders to the goddess to kill Susabi. The moon god destroyed all the witnesses to the real events at the evil god's trial. Tsukuyomi probably guesses that Susabi can cause trouble, so he banishes him from Takamagahara first (I take it literally to mean that he is banished from the land of the gods. However, this is only a guess). In the aftermath he already gives the order to kill Susabi. From this we can conclude that the moon god will go to any lengths to achieve his goals.

I think that in future events the moon god will become the new main antagonist. In addition, he will probably try to prevent the sun goddess from waking up or get rid of her altogether

However, it is still unclear which part of the gods will follow him to the end, and which part will turn away from the moon god when Amaterasu returns

ICHIMOKU REN ( @sortilegii​ ) INQUIRED OF SUSABI: " There is more to being here than the emptiness of the heart. Of course, I understand why some carry it, yet what would you make of me telling you that you must no longer be alone? " 

          The world shimmered at the seams, almost in an instant star cloud cloth enveloped the very fabric of reality, engulfing both men into its marvelous realm that spread over the ground even prior to their conversation began. The tall man, as ever reticent, retained his customary silence, observing the flickering lights of constellations painted on the dark canvas of the manufactured sky; torii gates towered in the distance, the passageways to intricate paths of entwined fates and inevitabilities. Clear blue eyes directed upwards trailed its glance in a leisurely manner over the pool of stars, the emissary’s mind remained far from the current interlocutor until a polite and gentle tone sent ripples across the surface of serenity of the domain.

          Attention of his was beckoned by another’s man inquiry, compelling to abandon contemplation and bestow upon the wind god own full and undivided attention. Albeit opting for solitary existence, Susabi developed acceptance towards the other’s presence, after all it always was a tranquil one. “Fate leads the willing and drags along the reluctant.” In a low yet calm tone he eventually spoke, an utterly elusive response, nonetheless he could not claim it to be one and not just a nonchalant musing of his heart, prompted by the comfort of Ichimoku ren’s company; after all the man was not known for penchant of verbose speeches, as every word was scrupulously judged and weighted, envisaged beforehand. With a reluctant acceptance the man was threading a path carved by destiny, fulfilling a promise given in another time, another age.

          With a curt shake of own head, the veil of compulsion for superfluous sincerity was dispersed, common to witness detachment tightened its grasp anew. A scarcely audible sigh escaped through slightly parted lips and in a few long strides the distance between them was shortened to afford the dark-haired man a better view of the other’s features, when actual response found its way from the depths of his mind. “And what would you make of me telling you that I seek no company? This world does not want me to be a part of it... And for the first time such reciprocity.” Mimicking the query addressed to him, the emissary vocalized own wonderment saturated with deeply engraved anger, artfully concealed, yet still so vividly perceived. Intrusive and oppressive images of the past would flood his memory newly in nightmares, rendering him unwilling to settle amicably grudges of a thousand years old. 

          Once clear gaze now darkened under heavy thoughts, in a blink lids covered dark blue irises in attempt to further secrete his vexation and disappointment; in spite of that a curiosity bloomed within, begat by inexplicable comfort found beside the other man, imposed company to which he never voiced a complaint, but instead an interest. “Why are you still nudging, knowing I will not relent?”
