Lumina Friendships: Tomorrow X Together

Choi Soobin

The friend who’s protective.

If there’s anyone who acts like Lumina’s big brother the most, it’s Soobin.

If they’re both at an award show or event he will always keep an eye on her. Even though he isn’t her leader he feels slightly responsible for her. Lumina doesn’t have group mates to keep her company so he tries to make sure she’s okay and comfortable by herself.

She’s so grateful for him. It’s hard being a soloist, she only hangs out with staff when she’s working but knowing he’s always around makes her feel reassured.

She really looks up to him like her older brother. He knows this, he would never do anything to break her trust.

Choi Yeonjun

The friend who always teases.

Literally can’t see each other without teasing one another, but it all comes from love and affection.

He will tickle her, mess up her hair or just do anything to try and annoy her, but she can never be mad at him and he can never be mad at her no matter what she does to disturb him.

Even though they’re like cat and mouse running circles around each other Yeonjun will drop everything to comfort her the moment something’s wrong.

His one and only little sister, if she’s sad he’s sad too.

Choi Beomgyu

The friend who feels like home.

He doesn’t tease her as much as he does his members but they both tease them together (especially poor Yeonjun).

Super playful when they’re together, Beomgyu is one of her favorite people to hang out with.

Her human battery. She will seek him out simply for a hug when she’s tired and she gets more energy.

He’s really caring and thoughtful towards her. She will never feel lonely while he’s around.

Kang Taehyun

The friend who always listens.

These two don’t interact as much as others but they’re closer then you may think.

She finds Taehyun a very comforting person to talk to. He gives good advice and listens without judgment.

Buys her chocolate milk sometimes because he knows how much she likes it. It’s his way of supporting her.

He may or may not cook extra food just for her. He likes hearing her opinion on his food. Maybe she’ll teach him to bake her famous cookies one day.

Huening Kai

The friend who’s always there.

The softest/craziest bestie duo.

No one can make her laugh like Kai can. He really just has to look at her a certain way and she’s gone.

Always the first to hug her out of the members. Will hug her extra long to annoy the others who are waiting to hug their little sister too. (cue Gyu whining “she’s mine too, let her go”)

Gives her one of his plushies on days she’s lonely. She takes it with her on her schedules, it doesn’t leave her side until she gives it back to it’s rightful owner. She’s so grateful whenever he does this, she knows how much he loves his plush toys. She’s so touched and it gives her comfort during a long day of work.

If I had a dollar for every time someone mentioned how beat up your pillow pet, I’d be swimming in cash. Just kidding, but I have heard I should probably let it go and that it’s kind of silly that I still have it after all of these years. The truth is, it’s one of the small but definite piece of my childhood and has become a comfort pillow (if you may).

People have said or probably thought that way about your boyfriend too. Having so many plushies and counting. It never fails to amaze you with how many he really has. Sometimes you’ll hear people ever so slightly questioning and throwing insults to him about his collection.

“Isn’t he a little too old to be sleeping with a stuffed animal?” or “How old does he think he is? He should act his age.”. It doesn’t bother Kai anymore but it most definitely bothers you. He has to stop you from responding. You can’t help but roll your eyes whenever you hear that shit.

“Baby, don’t worry. We shouldn’t care about what other people say all of the time. Thank you for wanting to defend me but trust me, it’ll only make it worse.” A kiss on the forehead follows and with that an exhale of your frustration leaves your body. “Fineeeee, but they should really learn to stop being assholes. Who are they to judge you?”

Kai shrugs and takes your hand to look for the next stuffed animal he’s looking for. Spotting it and he runs with you to get it. “I got it and who said growing up has to be not fun?”

Despite what people say or think, growing up doesn’t always have to be so serious and it’s okay to still hold onto things that give you comfort.

kai coming back to the dorms after an exhausting schedule but being surprised and smothering his so with kisses with the very last of his energy 💔💔 my heart

oh my god :((( this is literally so kai I feel INSANEEE imagine the boys have been working schedule after schedule, not really given any time to rest or recoup. kai’s trying hard to keep the energy positive but his patience is also getting low and he can feel his negative side trying to break out. hes’s tired. and he misses you!!! the boys know this so they plan a secret surprise for you two. you wait in the dorm living room twiddling with your fingers, your heart beating faster and faster as you hear the door unlocking and footsteps approaching the room.

aaaaand then he sees you. and his eyes just soften. his shoulders slowly droop down even though he didn’t even realize they were so tense before. a few seconds ago he felt like he would pass out if he took one more step but now the only thing he can focus on is showering you in love :( before you know it, he’s resting all his weight on you to hug you tight before holding your face softly, planting kisses everywhere :((( usually he’s shy about pda around the other members but this time he doesn’t care!!!

“mwah so mwah happy mwah to see you mwah my baby~”

and he looks so tiredddd :( his eyes droopy and dark circles peeking through and you just want to tuck him in bed, so you silently thank the other members and lead (almost carrying) him to his room. after making your way to bed, he rolls you both over with him on top, so he can peacefully suffocate you with kisses. “mmh- baby, mmph! don’t you wanna rest?” you manage to let out.

soobin has a crush on his therapist, but what happens when his therapist says she's dropping him as a client when yeonjun tells her about soobin's crush.

walking on stages, performing in front of thousands of people, doing interviews back to back, and having every little part of my life known by millions of people wasn’t easy. my anxiety was getting very bad; even walking outside had become difficult. it got to the point that i was issued a therapist by the company. whenever i had my first session i kept zoning out and stumbling over my words due to the fact that my therapist was the most beautiful woman i have ever seen. everytime i had a session with her i would talk for hours about nothing and everything all at once. she would make me feel like i could conquer anything after i left her office, but i never wanted to leave, i wanted to talk to her forever.

i had sessions with y/n once a week for a year and a half before she recommended me lowering our time to every other week. i tried to tell her that i would still like to see her every week but y/n said i no longer needed to see her that frequently since i've made so much improvement. i have made a lot of improvement, she's not wrong, but i started lying to her about how i was feeling so she would see me more frequently again. so my session times got switched back to once a week. every monday i got to see y/n and i was always so excited. on monday mornings i would count down the hours and minutes until it was time for my appointment with her.

today was monday and i was already in my session with y/n. i had told her about our new album and our upcoming tour, and y/n surprisingly said she already listened to it. i “jokingly” offered her tickets to the tour but she didn't take the offer. before i know it, and much sooner than i would have liked, our session was over. y/n showed me out of her office and i saw yeonjun waiting for me in the lobby to take me back home. i internally groaned seeing him here since he is the only member i have told about the painful crush i have on my therapist.

“ready to go?” yeonjun smiled at me and gave y/n a slight nod as a greeting.

“let me pay for the session and we can go.” i said as i walked towards the reception’s desk in the lobby. i saw yeonjun walk up to y/n out of the corner of my eye. i strained my hearing to try to listen in on their conversation; unfortunately, when i did i could hear yeonjun tell y/n about how i liked her. i bite my lip hard enough to almost make it bleed, and squeeze my eyes shut to try to hide my embarrassment from the receptionist. i put my card away as i finish paying and hesitantly head back towards yeonjun and y/n.

“soobin! i just printed out the paperwork that would relieve you of my services, i'll need you to sign those.” y/n says to me with a large smile on her face. i look at her with large eyes full of terror. she’s dropping me as a client because yeonjun told her i liked her? why does she look so happy about it?

“what?” i say after a while, it was the only words that my brain could think of at the moment.

“well it would be unethical of me to date one of my clients. so, sorry, you’ll have to find a new therapist.” y/n winked at me. date? does she have feelings for me too?

“i'll wait for you in the car.” yeonjun says as he patted me on the back and walked out.

kai would literally be so proud to not only have you as a partner but also be your partner!!! it’s one thing to be around the other guys cause I mean they’re basically family.. but when you introduce him to someone else for the first time and he just gets all wide-eyed and shy <3 ears red and he keeps fiddling with them so you comfort him!!!

I think whenever you two start using titles for the first time (boyfriend/husband) he just gets complete whiplash whenever you say it out loud LMAO

imagine having a get together and you decide to invite some of your co-workers who By the way have been asking about the ~secret lucky guy~ for an eternity. so this seemed like the perfect time! you separate from the guys to go answer the door, greeting your friends like normal, then suddenly you’re dragging them all to where the members are standing.

“these are my friends from work!” you start talking as you’re dragging them along, then you let go to turn around and stand next to your boyfriend.

“aaand these are my close friends! yeonjun, soobin, beomgyu, taehyun, and…” you point at each member before growing silent and looking up at kai. “this is my boyfriend :DDD”

and in the midst of all of your co-workers showering him in compliments, he’s frozen.. LOL until he finally processes what’s going on and gives a small bow. “nice to meet you!” he mutters excitedly but quietly.

everyone in the room can literally see his face heating up and growing red so you hold his hand and give him a gentle squeeze (^^) maybe even a kiss on the cheek too! but he might die inside..
