my most specific favorite trope is when the daughter of a Clan leader, a seemingly perfect warrior, goes and makes a mistake that defines her character.

Silverstream starting a forbidden relationship with Graystripe, eventually dying while giving birth to his kits.

Dawnpelt standing up in the middle of a Gathering and accusing a medicine cat of murdering her brother.

Leafpool running away with a WindClan warrior and returning pregnant, lying about it, and giving the kits to her sister.

Squirrelflight agreeing to help Leafpool with her lie and raising the kits as if they're her own.

Heathertail falling in love with a traitor and standing by him as he reintegrates into the Clan, when she could have had anyone she wanted.
