i dont knwo much about cheetahs but you can talk to me about them

GOD THEYRE SO COOL. DID YOU KNOW THEYRE SO COOL???????????? um the reason they can run so fast is bc not only do they have insanely powerful muscles and can use around 100% of their Awesome Power at once but bc they have??? more vertebrae in their spines???? this is actually the same about all cats! also the squishy parts of their spines are even squishier! thats why cats are so fast and flexible, but it works especially in a cheetahs favor bc it helps them squish up then extend like a spring. cheetah babies when they are born have just coincidentally evolved to look like a honey badger, and because no one fucks with honey badgers, they just. kept doing it. their genes were like Huh I guess this works. which is how all evolution works but i think its neat.

also they are i think one of the largest cats to still meow and purr, although the LARGEST goes to the cougar.

also i think this is common knowledge but the dark lines on their eyes are to make it so they can see in harsh sunlight much easier!
