Moon 93

TW: Death

oh so this is moon 93 actually don't know why but it is

So first the sad news, Goldenflower did pass away

here are the kits of Willowpelt and Runningwind

Driftingkit and gustkit are non - cannon but Larchkit is cannon (Larchkit)

As Goldenflower was lead to starclan and was reunited with her children that have passed. When she hadn't seen Tawnypatch and Goldfeather she grew worried and asked about them but when no cat answered, Lionheart had told her that they had seen them in the dark forest .

Goldenflower cried with worry as she tried to run for the border but was held back by Lionheart and Bluestar as she cried

A winter storm has happened and there will be a harsh leaf bare

There was a small stream of green cough through out the camp and spottedleaf had been the main caretaker of the other cats but had caught it herself and one morning Raindew checks on his mentor and finds her dead in her den

They are back and together in starclan

Mossstone had gone out and was hunting he normally doesn't do that but his clan was starving so he volunteered to go out. While out a blizzard came and when he went to go back he saw a rabbit and tried to fallow it thinking of Cedarkit.

The next day when patrols went out to find him all they found was his body and a frozen rabbit

Greystripe was one of the cats to go and find mossstone but as he was digging after thinking he heard him the snow fell around him as it caved in

Snowfall was one of the victim's of the greencough out break

Moon 0

"Just stay down!" Rainpaw tells the trembling kits. "You stick close to me, got it?!"

Finchkit, Mousekit, and Gustkit nod, trembling like the leaves in the wind. The three young cats stay huddled together, on a cliff face just above the forest they call home.

Fire roars below them, and Rainpaw can hear her heart pounding in her ears. She couldn't help but be so glad that she and the kits weren't caught down there. When she first smelt smoke, she knew it wasn't anything good.

"What.. what about mama!" Mousekit sniffles, trying hard not to cry, but for a kit his age it was hard.

"Don't worry," Rainpaw assures him, lowering her body. The kittens press into her short fur. "I'm sure everyone is okay! They're all strong warriors!"

The fire finally subsided after Starclan knew how long. Rainpaw had picked up Mousekit by the scruff of his neck, while Finchkit and Gustkit opted to ride on the apprentice's back. The trek down the cliff was nervewracking, and Rainpaw couldn't help but feel terrible.

Once to the entrance, he sets down Mousekit. "Chasingstar! Rosemarytwist!" He shouts as he walks into camp. "Where.. where.."

She stops in her tracks, and her breath hitches. "Kits, turn your heads away!" She orders, voice breaking.

"What?!" Finchkit cries. "Wh-Why!?"

"I said now!" Rainpaw hisses, knowing better than to let the kits see the burnt bodies in front.

The kittens do as their told, and Rainpaw let's out a shuddering breath. Tears pool in her eyes.

---clan has no leader.

---clan has no deputy.

---clan has no medicine cat.

Rainpaw places her paws over the burnt body of a long furred cat she thinks is Chasingstar.

"We'll be Ashenclan." She decides, then and there. Rainpaw turns her head back towards the kits, who were still huddled together, not looking away. "And we'll be Ashenclan until the day this clan really does fall."

Ashenclan has been formed.

Ashenclan has no leader.

Ashenclan has no deputy.

Ashenclan has no medicine cat.

I’ve been seeing a lot of those clan gen challenges where you start out with only one or two cats, usually apprentices and kits, and decided to do one of my own.

I probably won’t update this very often, given I’m doing this more for my own fun, but decided to some drawings and a little bit of lore. Plus some additional just fleshing out of the random story given to me in the future.

TLDR: clangen challenge where I start with only kittens, don’t plan to update this very often, but will occasionally add small doodles to this post.

With that said…

Gustkit and O'Malleykit were playing around, chasing each other. Flowerspark looked at them for a good few minutes.

Pinestar noticed Flowerspark's blank expression.

"Hey Flower, what's up?"

"Nothing much, Pine."

"Why the long face?"

".. Is it bad.. I kind of want kits..?"

Pinestar went dead silent, literally processing that sentence.

"Obviously not like, right now, but it kind of seems like a pleasant thought.."

Pinestar didn't even know Flowerspark even had these thoughts recently.

".. How about you, Melodybranch, and I discuss about this later. Alright?"

Flowerspark nodded.

The strong winds battered against the apprentice. It nearly threw her off her paws several times, forcing her to dig her claws in. She couldn't tell where she was, or what direction she was moving in; the storm removed all sense of direction. By the grace of Starclan, an opening caught her attention and she all but stumbled into it. Ushering two small, kittens in front of her, the three cats took shelter within the grotto.

WELCOME TO DRIFTCLAN ;; a clangen challenge focusing on the last three survivors of a once, respected clan. A strong storm having destroyed their camp, and claimed many lives. It is up to these survivors to rebuild their clan.
