Another week and another Sweet Spot blog!
Before I get into my next post, I feel that I did not provide you all with enough footage of the courses I ranked in my first post. Therefore, I have included an additional picture and video of those sensational golf wonderlands.

Topgolf coming to San Diego?
Good news San Diego golf lovers and those who want to enjoy the perks of a bowling alley, yet instead, it’s a golf range! Topgolf, the Callaway Golf owned brand, is nearing the horizon for construction at East Harbor Island in the port of SD. According to Fox 5 San Diego news article, there have been “exclusive negotiations with the Port of San Diego in a bid to bring its high-tech driving range to East Harbor Island.”
The range would include a 68,000-square-foot building, 102 hitting bays, and a full restaurant and bar.
With San Diego already being such an attractive vacation city, Topgolf will only add to its glory. Not only will it be a place to strengthen your game, but a place where your whole family and friends can go to have a great time.
Nothing is confirmed just yet, but there seems to be a very good chance for the near future!
What’s in my Golf bag?
In this portion, I’m going to highlight the clubs I currently play with and the accessories I have in my bag that should also be in everyone’s bag.
My clubs:
Driver - 9.5 degree Callaway Diablo Octane
3 wood - Taylormade R11
5 wood - Callaway Big Bertha
5 - PW - Callaway Pro XR
52 Degree - Tommy Armour Evo pro spin
54 Degree - Taylormade Z Milled Grind
58 Degree - Callaway Mac Daddy W grind
Putter - Mac Gregor M5K, Bobby Grace Designed with superstroke grip.
I do not have the newest and nicest of clubs, but they get the job done and that’s all I can ask for as a usual once a week player (I would play every day if I had more time). When I feel the time is right, I will first upgrade my driver and then a brand new set of wedges. I also might need to add in a 4 Hybrid in there, considering I don’t have a club that will hit my distance or 215-235ish. Everything else I can live with for the time being.
Always in my bag:
Ball marker, Divot repair tool, club towel, hand towel, spare tees, range finder, 2-3 gloves, and that’s typically it. Simple enough, right? These are items I think everyone should include in there bag. Having the proper tools will allow you to perform at your best and look good while doing it!
Never forget: Everyone is different, find what works best for you and stick with it! Different stokes for different folks.

Harry’s Golf Hack #2: - Have a strong, controlled stance: Before every swing, you should always set yourself up in position of poise and proper posture. If someone were to try and push you from your chest while in this stance, you should barely move. If you have a comfortable yet powerful stance, you will allow yourself to fully activate your hips and complete that fluent golf swing just like your favorite pro!
