A few musical cues were borrowed from Taichiro Kosugi’s soundtrack for the original Cyborg 009 films and TV series.
The music that plays during Spin Claw’s dance performance is “The Flight of Swans” from  Tchaikovsky’s score for the Swan Lake ballet. This specific rendition was used numerous times in Cyborg 009, specifically in scenes featuring Francoise aka Cyborg 003, who is also a ballerina.

This episode marks the directorial debut of Kozo Morishita. He previously worked as an assistant director for the first episode but was not given credit. Morishita would go on to direct Saint Seiya and later become the executive vice president of Toei Animation.
