FOODTAP
Exploring the Savory World of Food Delivery
Tumblr media
The FoodTap team once again validated their business to their key partners which is the restaurants and habal2 drivers, and all of them agreed to be part of our daily operations. In terms of users, the students, faculty, staff, and those people residing near the CMU campus are happy to use our website.
Then, we decided on our Registration Fee and Commission fee and listed the costs of our daily operations.
The team decided to exclude the restaurants located in Dologon because we projected negative outcomes if we included them.
The FoodTeam used Powtoon for their promotional video, and it was fun to create.
The team divided the tasks equally for creating the PowerPoint presentation and website.
Tumblr media
In our website you can leave a note if you have Allergies,Special Request or Instruction.the Ratings of the foods we offer in our website.Just remember these three things,Tap the food you want, click the add to cart button and tap the checkout button.
The team foodies journey was about to end and after the final pitching our presentation was a successful one.

Ryan Olcott is the mastermind behind Minnesota electronic project c.Kostra. If you’re unfamiliar with Olcott (as I was), he was the frontman of alt-rock band 12 Rods. He also fronted for Mystery Palace and Foodteam. But now he reemerged with c.Kostra’s debut full-length now i feel it, a lo-fi mish mash of synth-driven jazz and electro beats. Dynamic beats and soulful undertones lay the groundwork on the opener “Hear To Heart.” Olcott’s vocals are laden with effects as they shift through the mix. Jazzy brash overtones and frequent interludes are thrown in as well. Tracks like “Girls N Minneapolis” and “Cash N Candy” embody a similar beat complimented with colorful overtones. “Double Crush” and “Xyz” encompass more of a pop-soul vibe with buoyant synth effects and an atmospheric wall of sound. The only downside to this album is the overuse of vocal effects. Otherwise, now i feel it is a well crafted and bright medley of electronic and organic genres.

Download the hour long Podcast interview HERE! UTintrvw#19: Ryan Olcott
Ryan Olcott came through the loft for the last interview I conducted @ the Carlton before moving out in March 2012.  The mastermind behind FoodTeam / Mystery Palace / 12 Rods spoke on growing up in a musical family, his relationship with popular music, the many facets of his career in engineering sound, and his direct experiences taming the glitchy, tone-deaf beast known as circuit-bending.  If you are not aware of circuit-bending as an art form, I suggest watching a few parts of FoodTeam's in-studio performance before listening to the interview.
Download the episode HERE or search "Unique Techniques" on iTunes and subscribe for updates, interviews, videos, and more.
