Adelha visibly jumps at Lancer’s voice to whirl around to see him. Those azure blue eyes widening for her to then grin in delight. “Well if it isn’t my favorite charismatic troublemaker. As to what I am doing, I am putting away the vegetables we just harvested from Chaldea’s Arboretum. But I may be persuaded to be spirited away for a while.”

The Master walks over to Lancer to wrap her arms around him in a warm hug. Her lips placing a kiss to his cheek for her to hum at him. “I should scold you for being gone for so very long. But I am so very glad to see you.”

It is at this point Aqua decides to give a very big yawn before snuggling further into her stuffed toy. Little grumbles given as if she is complaining at all the noise disturbing her precious nap time. Yet Adelha simply chuckles to give Lancer a kiss to his other cheek. “Knowing you, I would be five gold coins you haven’t really eaten in a while. So we should make you something filling and spoil you a bit with some stashed away absinthe. What say you to that, handsome rascal?”

Adelha chuckles to answer Daniel’s question readily. “Yes indeed I do have many plans for the holiday season. The Currier clan tends to be quite busy from Halloween to New Year’s Day. What with making formal dinners and various parties for gift giving. So I tend to be swamped with things to do.”

Wesson enjoys the good pets to give Daniel’s fingers puppy kisses. His woof of delight soon followed by a puppy grin. So Adelha chuckles to stand in front of Daniel and give him a hum of amusement. “On a side note, we do have the present moment. Which just so happens to be of the three of us standing under mistletoe. So I should give a good soul a kiss.”

Adelha leans forward to give Daniel a kiss on the cheek. Leaving a berry red lipstick kiss on that cheek to hum at Daniel with good cheer. “There we go. I will also invite you to spend some time with us in the arboretum. I have some peppermint cookies to go with some freshly picked tea leaves.”

The kitten openly purrs when Bedivere picks her up to snuggle with him right away. Even moving up to give his chin kitten kisses. The lady looking amused at the kitten to then gently take the kitten and pet the fluffy creature. Which just keeps on purring and snuggling as the lady answers. “My full name is Margaret Joanna Adelha Mathilde. A magus in the family of the Currier clan and a reserve Master of Chaldea. As well as the head of Chaldea’s Arboretum Project. It is a pleasure to finally meet you, Sir Bediviere. This little fluffy waif is Aqua. My current owner and princess of naps and playtime.”

The kitten gives a happy mew to look quite proud. Whic has the lady chuckle to set the kitten down on the floor. Which has Aqua move to wind around Bediviere’s leg and purr more before scampering back into the kitchen. The hair ribbon soon in Adelha’s gloved hands for her to place it back into her dress pocket. A sigh of patient warmth escaping the lady. “Aqua decided to scamper away with my hair ribbon when it came undone. She is of course very sneaky and tends to delight in making me chase after her. So having you catch her for me is much appreciated so I can finish my kitchen chores. I would love to treat you to some freshly brewed tea to show my gratitude.”

Adelha gives Daniel a warm hum to then take both his hands. Gently massaging his fingers and hands with her own hands. “Anytime, Daniel. Lord knows you tend to overdo things. So I am more than happy to help you relax.”

So the lady hums at the young man to tell him, “I was just about to head into the greenhouse to pick berries. Would you like to join me?”

Merlin is feeling playful so he sneaks up on Adelha when she's working and hugs her from behind with a cackle.

The sneaky flower mage is rewarded with a loud squeak from Adelha at the surprise hug. But she soon puts down the mortar and pestle she was using to grind mustard seeds to chuckle and pat Merlin's arms with her gloved hands. Her words full of warm delight even as she scolds him. "Someone has been hiding from training and daily chores. But I am so very glad you decided to come out of hiding to see me, Merlin. Did you figure out I am going to make honey cake later today and want to be my taste tester? Or are you here to shower me with face kisses and spoil me with snuggles?"

Romani would receive a long sigh from Adelha for her to shake her head. The kitten reaching out to gently tug on Romani’s glove in an attempt to get the doctor to pet her. The kitten mewing playfully. While Adelha moves to kneel down and give Romani a kiss on the cheek. “Silly Romani. It’s almost time for dinner and well past time for you to stop working. So we are going to insist that you cease and desist working this instant.”

Adelha leans back to gently tap Romani on the nose for her to smile at him. That smile holding warmth and fondness as she chuckles at him. “Would you be willing to join a kitten princess and her mother hen of a human for dinner? Archer decides to spoil Chaldea with several seafood dishes. With the added luxury of honey cake for dessert. Does that sound good to you?”

Americano ends up wandering into the bedroom for Adelha to lead both handsome angels to follow. The puppy crawling under the bed to hunt for socks or perhaps some wayward toys. Which has Adelha sigh to then sit Michelangelo at her writing desk. The lady soon sitting on the bed as David works at removing the leaf bits from her hair.

The mention of Absalom has Adelha still with visible astonishment. But she soon gives a long sigh of air to relax and let the tension of her spine ease. “I do so dearly hope this means that Absalom has had the chance to clear the air with all of the family here in Chaldea. What I remember of scripture conveys how tragic and complicated things became. Yet I would gladly welcome all of your children into my treasury and home, David. I just hope I have enough tea in the pantry.”

The pink robin continues to sing in his cage as Americano emerges from under the bed with a very chewed up spider plush doll. The doll done in scraps of yellow and blue cloth to look a bit worn out as Americano tosses the doll out the door to then chase after it. Adelha watching to openly chuckle as she stays seated for David to continue his ministrations. “I’m going to have to remake that doll when it finally comes apart at the seams. Perhaps we may have a day of all your children sitting with me to make more of those spider dolls. We might also make some playdough for Jack and Nursery Rhyme to play with.”

The puppies give yips and soon are herded into the play pen to openly bat paws and run around the constructs. Which leaves Adelha to take David’s hand and get back up onto her feet. Her hair in a tangled mess and leaves stuck to her dress for her to give a huge huff of relief. “They woke up from their nap ready to conquer the universe. So I was not prepared. Your timely assistance is a welcome help, my joys. Although I didn’t realize Michelangelo had sculpted himself constructs already.”

Adelha leans over to give David a kiss on the cheek to then do the same for Michelangelo as the puppies continue to zoom around the play pen. With Aqua the kitten wandering up to the artist to watch the puppies and look miffed. Adelha trying to brush the leaves off her dress as she chuckles openly. “It is so very good to see you two wandering around outside of your love nest. Especially when I haven’t had the chance to check in on you. Sadly, things get so chaotic when autumn arrives I have little time to escape to visit my beloved souls.”

Aqua purrs to then rub her head to Michelangelo’s leg. While Adelha begins to try and finger comb through her hair. Which isn’t really working very well for her to give a huff of frustration. “Oh bother. Here I have two gorgeously sculpted men paying me a visit, and I look like a frumpy mess. Shame on me. But perhaps my cherished souls might be willing to help me look my best?”

Adelha gives a nod of her head to soon get a case of the hiccups. Her arms around Lancer to be gripping him so she's as close to him as physically possible. The Master shuddering from how hard she is crying as she speaks with hoarse and hurting words. "They made me watch... They made me watch as... As they... They killed all of you... They made me watch..."

The lady gives a rather hard cough to rest her head to Lancer's shoulder. Another cough soon followed by more words. "It wasn't real... It won't happen... We are all still here... You are still here... Setanta... This is what is real... Us being here in Chaldea... It was just a bad dream, right?"

Merlin would get no reply from the hole. But the door to the greenhouse would open for a very excited Wesson to zoom out and right towards Merlin. The puppy all but jumping on the Caster with wagging tail and happy yips. While someone was standing at the door to the greenhouse. A man in a faded kimono and long white hair who seems very nervous to see Merlin.

Soon enough, the man gives a heavy sigh of air to open the door further. That familiar scent of lavender and ocean spray the give away. The man is actually Adelha! The Master placing both hands in his sleeves to finally speak with a hoarse voice. "I would say the cat is out of the bag. If Aqua wasn't currently napping in my dress at the moment. So go ahead and laugh, Merlin. I am sure you would find this highly amusing."

Adelha has finished with making some special dog food for her Paw Posse. Setting the bowls down for all five puppies to start eating their tasty meal right away. While Aqua gets her own little bowl of food. Adelha soon sitting at the kitchen table with a sigh of fatigue. Claude walking through the back door to sit beside Adelha and pull her into a side hug. Which she eagerly enjoys with a happy hum as they watch the Paw Posse enjoy their lunch.

The Master gives a patient sigh of air as she moves to kneel beside Romani’s chair. Turning the doctor so he faces her and not the laptop. Those gloved hands soon lacing her fingers into his. “That means you need to step away from your work and to a long afternoon of food and family. So you are done working for now and I will gladly kidnap you for an early dinner.”

Adelha then leans forwards to give Romani a gentle hug. Several kisses to his cheeks given before she helps him stand up and out of his chair. “Aqua will take your messages for you. Since Florence is right around the corner in the infirmary and will be able to keep an eye on Aqua for us. If not a certain Servant that was the one to tell me you haven’t eaten yet. So you are coming with me.”

The Master then leans forwards to hug Romani as he is standing to also rub her nose to his and sigh. “I missed you so very much. So I am throwing all the rules to the side and taking you for some personal time with me. No more work. No more meetings or chores or anything involving serious things. Just the two of us and some good food and lots of TLC from me.”

[ How does Adelha feel about the winter season? ]

Adelha tends to get slightly depressed during the winter months. She loves to tend to her garden and savor nature in all it's abundance. With winter limiting her garden tasks to what she can do with her greenhouse, she tends to get very melancholy on and off.

Thankfully, Adelha's family tends to keep her super busy with holiday activities and a lot of group things. The moment it starts snowing, Adelha gets swamped with family things to do and a lot of socializing. From long walks in the snow with her puppies and kitten while her cousins help herd the group. To long days spent helping with homework and enjoying old movies. So Adelha tends to be super busy the entire winter season.

The puppies give happy woofs and snuffles of noise as they snuggle into Goetia and get comfy. While Aqua all but buries herself into that glorious mane of golden tresses to then lick at Goetia’s neck and purr in his ear. Her fuzzy head soon bumping his chin as she makes it very clear she is asking for snuggles.

The sight has Adelha openly chuckle to get out her tablet and record a video of the snuggle session. Her amusement plain in her voice. “It would seem that bath time has been replaced with snuggle time today. Our chosen snuggle friend being a very handsome soul of sunlight and majesty. Goetia. I hope you do not mind being a hug buddy slash jungle gym today. They picked up this habit from Iskander letting the smallest of the Paw Posse climb him like a tree.”

The lady smiles at how Daniel takes in the photo to nod her head in assurance. Soon scooping up a sneaky Aqua to ensure the kitten doesn’t try pouncing on Daniel’s foot as she chuckles warmly. “Quite sure. I am aware that several of Chaldea’s staff tend to hold onto photos of friends and family. Especially photos of friends they are making within Chaldea. Since you get along so well with Magdeline, it only makes sense for you to have a photo of her.”

Adelha pauses when Aqua reaches a paw up to tap the Master on her nose. A huff of a laugh escaping as Adelha pets the now purring kitten. “That being said, I am quite sure Magdeline will give you a photo of myself. Probably one where I ended up with a bag of flour exploding in my face or falling into a mud hole. All my cousins have those kinds of photos to get a laugh out of the memory and have me pretend to chase them with a broom. I would also love to see a photo you have kept of Iris or one from your younger years, if you have them.”
