I think my belief in perfection harms me [And those around me?]

#blog post #Bc i strive for what i believe to be achievable #I strive for perfection bc i believe it is achievable not objectively but subjectively #perfection is easy acceptance #perfection ... is serenity; is contentment; is wisdom before hindsight bias; is joy in the present; is an understanding of thich naht hahn #perfection is the path of least resistance so why am i striving? #perfection is absurd bc it's contradictory #absurdity is humor #humor brings laughter #laughter is perfection #Hmm. some kinds of laughter are perfection #ENUF tumblr. i went thru my fav mutual's blog cuz they liked my selfie. now Im introspective asf #cuz Im a copycat. theyre introspective #and it makes me think theyre cool #So here #look at me now... #Representation matters cuz we use representation as models and we are taught to model our behavior after examples and expectations #thus the moral code which prefaces the social contract #Hard for me to enjoy romantic writing the same way I believe a younger me would've enjoyed it ... my studies make me critical #i am critical of all that amazes me #amaze! why is it that we associate what confounds and overwhelms us with gratification and pleasure? in some cases? and why not #in others? #Linguistics i pledge passionately to you this 1:51pm. it has been spent in your honor
