Not metal but this is another favorite album of mine. It's a prog/fusion jazz rock opera concept album type thing based on the children's book 'The Rainbow Goblins' lol and is genuinely an incredible piece of music

IMHO #I'm a big prog jazz fan. This + Flying Beagle by Himiko Kikuchi and Seven by Cameron Graves are fav albums on that front
