Dear Diary,

If prom was awesome, the afterparty was even awesomer. We all went to Arun's place and hung out in the basement. I learned how to play beer pong, and I'm really bad at it. I also learned how to do a line - I'd never done coke before but Arun had some and everyone else was trying it, so I thought, why not, right? It was crazy. I can't even describe it. But it gave me the courage to go and kiss Ava, right in front of everyone. And she kissed me back! We even made out in a closet.

What an awesome night.

I overshot my curfew a bit and didn't get back until the sun was up. My moms were PISSED. I'm grounded for like a month. WORTH IT!

ACNH Villagers by House Type

I don't know if anyone has a need for this or if anyone has compiled a list already, but I made a list of ACNH villagers based on their home exterior. This is based on the general SHAPE of the house, NOT the other characteristics like window, porch light, roof, color, etc. The categories I have come up with are as follows:

“Beach Hut”

This is the rounded house with a rectangular porch and exposed bamboo. It should be noted that this is ~*~technically~*~ a version of the pueblo, but the exposed bamboo is a present feature in so many houses that I made it its own category.

so...im rebuilding my whole island

yep, i decided last night because i thought of a theme that i like much better than what i have. it’s going to be a villager-centric island where the villager’s aesthetics/personality dictates the island design and the areas throughout the island. one of the things that is important to me that i was able to do well in this game was personalize the space around my villagers to match their vibe. so now i wanna be true to that and take it to a whole nother level. think of my island like candyland...the locations throughout candyland were completely based on the characters

here are the ideas i have so far for my current villagers/dreamies

the woodland forest leads to beau and dierdre’s houses

the garden and farm leads to fauna’s house

the school and library leads to raymond and lolly’s houses

the playground and cat park leads to punchy’s house

the excavation site leads to lobo’s house

the bamboo garden and gym leads to rowan’s house

shell pathway on the beach leads to merry’s house

diana’s house is in the city cafe

i actually made a draft of diana’s cafe on my island this morning..her house is going to be in the stone square area when i can move it

so what y’all think?? i thought it was a really cool and unique idea that i personally haven’t seen done before. i really wanna do something different instead of cottagecore theme like everyone else. here’s my very very rough draft map design of what it might look like💕

We can't do three kids in our apartment with just Ava's pay - so I went to D-Mom for help. She really hates when I mess up, but she really loves getting to be the one to get me out of trouble. So she told me off, but she still fixed us up - she got me a job with [REDACTED], where I have to wear a suit and everything. And the job came with a relocation to Evergreen Harbour and a nice house in the suburbs there. Don't worry about Ava - they need baristas everywhere, so she got another job pretty quick.

D-Mom made me promise to marry Ava as soon as the next kid is out - which I will, duh, I was always planning to. It's just busy is all.

It's all gone so fast, I can't quite believe it. Corey's a young adult now - headed for university, for a career, even for marriage and kids of his own! Maybe it feels as if it went by so fast because I never really got much time to be a mother to him. But, well, it was Bel's idea anyway. To have a baby.

After the wedding, we had a small reception at our house - really small, but it was nice, we danced and had the cake that D-Mom made for us. Usually I'd say the bigger crowd the better, but we're both so totally wiped that it was a huge relief.

Ava told me, when the kids were all put to bed, how happy she was that we finally made it official official (and shit, I'm happy too, ladies won't hit on me at work anymore now that I've got a ring on my finger). She also said that she knows we can handle all the challenges that life is gonna throw at us. What other challenges could there be? We survived newborn twins, we can do anything!

D-Mom is pretty pissed that I'm going to Foxbury instead of her alma matter (sp?) Britechester. She always said "university first!" about everything fun, I didn't know she meant her uni. So she didn't come to drop me off - she didn't want to see B-Mom either. I guess they really are getting a divorce, since B-Mom moved out of the apartment about the same time that I did.

Being on campus is so cool. I've got a roommate - Dylan - which is sick because I've never shared a room at all, it'll be like having a brother. And I bet the party-pportunities (party opportunities) will be off the hook!

Last night I was about to go to bed after an intense Blicblock session (12 hours, no bathroom breaks) when I heard tons of shouting downstairs. I guess B-Mom came home really late again (she does that a lot) and D-Mom yelled at her and called her a cheater and all kind of stuff. By the time I got downstairs, they were yelling about divorce and stuff. That's crazzzy. There's no way they'll actually do it, they've always fought and they've never gotten divorced once.

I wonder if B-Mom really was cheating? That'd be messed up if it's true.

D-Mom came to visit. I knew she'd be mad - like, super-nuclear mad - and I was totally right. She said 'we didn't raise you like this' like, fifteen times while she was yelling at me. I get where she's coming from but honestly this kind of situation never really came up when she was raising me, so I think I'm a little in the right here.

At least she was nice to Ava. Told her how excited she is to have a future daughter-in-law (I haven't popped the question yet) and how she wishes she could've come to the birth (I mean, I did call her). And then she apologized for my behaviour (??).

And then after meeting Todd and Oscar, she totally chewed me out for my grades. I couldn't get a word in. I've been pretty busy, Mom!

Well, we did it - we finally tied the knot! I said it was going to happen.

The ceremony was awesome. It was nice enough with D-Mom and our kids and all our relatives there: Cedar as our ring-bearer, Misty as our flower pal, Raj and Nicole as our sims of honour, and Ava's parents John and Marlene attending too. But it got even better, 'cause halfway through, B-Mom came striding into the church looking cool as hell (I'd sent an invitation to her email but I never really thought she'd come, since she's been gone for so long). But she showed up, she officiated, and she and D-Mom didn't even fight.

We had a great time, but it was also crazy busy. You can't turn off being a parent, even for a day - Osc-man got out of his suit and ran around the church during the ceremony, and Erica would have cried non-stop if D-Mom hadn't been there to soothe her.

I think D-Mom likes being a grandma - which is fine for me and Ava, 'cause we need all the help we can get. Both the boys love it when she comes round to look after them - she spoils them rotten. She never spoiled me when I was a kid, what's up with that? Oh well - all that matters right now (tonight) is that me and Ava actually got some sleep!

B-Mom hasn't even visited yet. It's really hard to get in contact with her. I think she's abroad or something...

For Christmas this year, we visited Sulani to stay with Uncle Jupiter. It was the craziest Christmas ever! All my cousins were there - Evan, Brad, Misty, Nicole, and Cedar. I'm used to spending the winter holiday walking around on slushy streets, but instead, we were swimming and surfing! When there was a storm, we hung out inside and played games while the rain came pounding down outside. It was so cool, I wish I lived in Sulani, but Mom says university first.

Last night was AWESOME. My moms were out for some event thingy, so I invited some friends over for a halloween costume party. Jing brought a keg and we got totally messed up. I don't even remember most of it, but my keyboard smells like beer now, I think I puked in my spidey-mask, and I found a lip ring under my pillow.

This morning I got a pretty stern lecture from my moms. They were worried about me when they got home, I guess. And now I'm grounded.
