here are my trans corv hcs:

he doesn’t talk out loud in the first game bc of selective mutism including: hiding his accent (bc racism), damaged vocal box, and voice dysphoria

by the time dis2 rolls around he’s healed up, has stopped giving a Fuck what people think of his accent and also trans healthcare got better in the 15 yrs in between so he feels more secure in his voice. still prefers not to speak tho

multiple people comment on how he’s smaller/leaner than they imagined he’d be and he used to hate it but one time emily whispered “like a mouse” and after that it was kind of okay

he loved his long hair as a kid but social pressure when he joined the guard forced him to cut it all short. he spent the next ten yrs growing it out and it was long for all of emily’s childhood

then one day when she was a teen she got gum or the gristol equivilent of gum stuck in his hair and he shaved it all off and kept it relatively short and that’s why it’s short in dis2

also he can grow a BEARD to hide his face now fuck yea

he sometimes worries that if he ever finds beatrici she won’t believe it’s him but then he remembers that one time when they were kids when he tried to disguise himself in a crowd and she immediately locked eyes with him and screeched “FOR MY HONOR” and she tackled him to the ground

ohmygoooood this is the worst part about dishonored 1, i have no idea at what point i apparently killed someone during a mission until i see the ending stats

so now i have to do the whole thing again to get cleaner hands

hmm not sure when I’ll have the time

But I wanna replay Dis2 before buying DotO. Had such a bad experience first go-around with all the technical difficulties (that hopefully have been resolved), and I wanna be able to experience the game as it was intended.

Haven’t heard of any technical issues with DotO tho, which is a good sign.

So Dishonored

I have never touched one. Let’s put that right there. There are reasons. My reasons. Mine. You can’t have them.

However. When someone nicely gives you superpowers... and basically -I suspect- tells you you’re doing a swell job with them... by not somehow yanking them off of you let’s say... maybe even giving you more... maybe even taking the training wheels off entirely...

You do not stab their face in saying “Die MOFO!”

There should not be laconic, detail-lacking plan of ”let’s kill /the guy/!” followed by “Yaeh!”. I presume this is said by people sporting some real Herp Derp eyes... and every superpower they have aimed at their former associate.

Just gonna assume that.

Also gonna assume that said WELL MEANING BY THEIR SOON TO BE MURDERERS will congratulate them on a fine murdering. Probably no “Did I hold back a superpower? Did I kill your mom?"

I mean does the guy turn totally evil Sithikins between Dis2 and BLARGH-o’clock (Like in Prototype->Prototype2)? No one’s mentioned that. But here come the Murder Knives anyway.
