She had heard the voice of one of the trees beckoning for her attention. Roselle was in the area looking for a tree for the holiday. She was with a few of the employees from the B&B but, luckily she slipped away from their sight. She debated at first if she should enter the restricted area, knowing how much she could get in trouble if she was caught.

But, the call of nature was far too strong for her to resist.

“I’m coming, I’m coming!” She called out to the one that seemed to be keenly shouting out for her. She ran through the snowy patch, muttering apologies and excuses to the resting plants before her sight finally caught up on the one calling her.

“There you--” As she spoke, her attention was directed to another person yelling towards her.

‘Ah, now I know why I’m called here.’ She mused internally, hands crossing against her chest as she eyed the man running towards their direction.

“What do you mean you’re calling dibs? Don’t you know that this is a restricted area and you’re not supposed to go tree hunting here?” She scolded the stranger, obvious anger and distaste evident on her features.

his search wouldn’t be over until he found the biggest tree within this bunch. before he split from his friends; each of them made a bet about who could find the biggest tree and he was determined to win. sadly, his luck wasn’t the greatest and most of the green plants that were still afloat were of the smaller variety. walking into a roped off section of the ranch, rockwell smiled knowing that he felt lucky to sneak in so easily. what made it even funnier was that others had also slipped into this restricted area and all seemed to have a common goal. “don’t touch that one! i’m calling dibs on that one!” he yelled as he confronted the person and tried to secure it before them.

𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝑀𝒶𝓇𝒾𝑜𝓃𝑒𝓉𝓉𝒾𝓈𝓉

𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒴𝓊 𝐹𝒶𝓂𝒾𝓁𝓎

Roselle is one of the many heirs of her family, they’re a rather large clan. They all answer to their matriarch Yu Lian Ji (NPC), who is a part of the Golden Council.

Many of her family spent their first few centuries in their forest. They rarely interact with humans or other species. They pride themselves in “purity” and not intermingling their blood with others.

She was one of the favored heirs and who was highly likely to take over a seat in the Golden Council in any event that her grandmother would pass over.

The family does not mingle much with other species, still deals in the black market. It is one of their primary sources of income.

The family did not take kindly to the news that Roselle is engaged to a vampyr. They do not consider him family and is very disappointed in her for her choices.

𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝐻𝑒𝒾𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈

Her skills are Botaniclingualism and Zoolingualism. She is able to communicate with both nature and animals. It was thought before that she may have nature manipulation but, she can only control plants when she asks them.

Her controlling of nature is more of a give and take with respect. Not all plants will do her bidding.

Her Zoolingualism also enables her to communicate with aquatic animals and plants.

She’s very close to her younger brothers (The White Knight-NPC and The Cryptic-NPC). She was the one who took care of them when everyone else was too busy with their lives.

She loves her younger siblings dearly and would do anything to protect them.

She is a bookworm.

She used her time in Paris to study biochemistry then, furthered it by studying to become a trauma surgeon.

Her family had discussed before of Roselle taking up combat classes but, decided against it. They saw that she excelled more in politics and economical senses so, they let her do her thing there.

She practices the use of crystals and tarot cards.

She is too accustomed to the life of living like a princess that running away and being treated like a nobody in Dell Rapids still baffles her.

𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝐵𝓁𝒶𝒸𝓀 𝒯𝓇𝒶𝒹𝑒𝓇

She had only been in the family business for eight years. The time she spent in Paris studying as a doctor was also the time she studied the trade business.

She handled trades that included body parts and organs. In some cultures or even species, they tend to have an inclination in devouring such parts. She was in charge of the deals there.

She has the stomach for cutting and taking out certain parts inside a body. It was one of the many reasons they had allowed her to be a doctor and in-charge of this operation.

Many times, she used the people they traded parts for in her studies to become a doctor.

The only people who knew she does surgery for the business is the consigliere, the havoc, and her personal bodyguards before she ran away to South Dakota.

All business deals go through her first when it includes body parts and organs.

Aside from her usual business, she does deals in antiques from time to time.

𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒞𝒶𝓇𝑒𝓉𝒶𝓀𝑒𝓇

Her lifestyle of bossing people around and always being a perfectionist has paid off in this lifetime. She loves managing the B&B and keeping it in pristine condition.

Although Roselle can be a tyrant, she has a heart for her employees. She treats them with respect and dignity.

There have been quite a few times that she had been scolded because of her spoiled brat attitude, it’s something that she’s trying to work on right now.

She gets along well with the employees and loves getting to know them. But, they are still cautious around her because of her attitude.

She has a knack and charm for the customers loving her. Once she talks to them, her sweet-honeyed words will make them want to come back.

When not working, she can often be seen tending to the gardens, dancing in the halls, or doing arts.

Although she’s the one who manages the B&B, she’s very hands-on in the sense that she likes to oversee everything and meet and greet every customer to comes along.

She will be the one who bakes or cooks for the customers and employees from time to time.

Escaping the fortress that was the Thistledown for once, Roselle had decided to venture out further where she was not allowed. Ever since they had settled down in South Dakota, her movements were limited and the watchful eyes of people who cared for her seemed to choke the pinkette. Arriving at Maitland though, an area where most would know that she would rather not step on was like a breath of fresh air.

“Hello ghost town,” She muttered softly under her breath. She had heard of this place and was curious. There was not much to see aside from the rumored forest that housed wraith point and deception pass. Roselle wanted to enter but knew it was far too risky to do so.

Instead, she had entered the Nocturnal Tavern to maybe get some stories from the locals there. The look of disappointment was too evident on her features when she was faced with the fact of how much of a dump this place was.

“Are you like that to all of your customers?” She answers back in obvious disgust. There was a thought in the back of her mind, saying that maybe she should’ve brought her fiancé along. Roselle quickly shook that idea away. “I’ll buy a drink instead, thank you.” She tried to be polite but, her voice betrayed her with the tone of repulsion in it.

atticus laid across the bar, his body taking up a good half of the top that was used to served the drinks upon. it had been a slow afternoon and would be the same this evening, if it didn’t pick up. he really needed to find himself some bar staff, because at the moment everything was falling on his head and he was really getting sick of being here when no one else was. he would much rather pay someone to do that. “unless you’ve come to drink, maybe suck my cock - fuck off” which was the mature and welcoming way to invite customers into his bar. yet, his mood always had got the better of him.
