simblr new years resolution 2024

thanks for tagging @bakersimmer !!

what's your resolution for your simblr?

i was serious when i said i want to play the game LESS mostly because i'm so far back behind editing screenshots i probably have enough stuff to post for months. this year i'm searching for greener better pastures (mostly looking at you ts3 & ts2 😘)

finish and upload more builds

what do you want from the sims franchise?

more drama!! (in game not on simblr god forbid)

multi-functional lots like come on!! the sims four for rent was a wasted opportunity, especially because of the loading screens between apartments

bands and venues for entertainers to work at

more hobbies like team sports and martial arts with tournaments, pottery, glassblowing, any kind of dancing, arcade games etc etc i could go on and on

no but actually the franchise can just... stop. it's ok. we can stop making the sims games now. they are never getting better.

any other new years resolutions?

nah, i don't like to put that kind of pressure on myself

Sul-sul my loves! The time has come for me to archive this blog and move onto pinker pastures! Although I have had an amazing time on this simblr, I wanted to move to somewhere fresh to start trying to post more frequently. I picked a new url that I think fits my personal aesthetic better, with a nod to my favourite sims icon, the cowplant. I’ll be reblogging my favourite pictures and screenshot edits I’ve done over there, as well as posting new ones and some of the sims I’ve made too such as Kano and others. Turns out that cowplants actually don’t do well in tropical climates, so unfortunately Coraleye’s cowplant went to the giant pasture garden in the sky.

One more thing for Coraleye to have to keep her mind off of.

Shelbi: Hey Coraleye! Watcha up to?

Coraleye: Just checking the traps. No luck today.

Shelbi: I’m really sorry about the... uhh..

Coraleye: Cowplant? Shelbi: [nods]

Coraleye: Thanks. I should have done better research before trying to grow one on an island.

Shelbi: Also...

I just wanted to thank you for all that you’ve done. I know this has to be so weird for you. I’m definitely gonna tone down the PDA. I realized Duane and I have been a little much.
