Tell me more about jam!
Well, (From my quick searches to what I can find that's similar online) the closest thing to it is jelly.
To give a quick rundown, you get fruit and sugar (Of equal quantity), and mash them together. (I use a potato masher) until you get a fruit pulp basically. Then boil it until it reaches a certain temp (Or until you can put a splash of it on a cooled plate and run your finger through it and it wrinkles) Then put it into sterilized jars and close and let it cool.
It's super tasty and really versatile, you can use just about anything for jam as it's a preservative. (Mixed berry jam for example just depends on what I've got in the garden that year. Strawberries, blackberries raspberries etc.) There are a ton of recipes online for some really good ones if you want to make your own, you dont need fancy stuff either which is great.
You got any specific questions? I'd be happy to speak more about it.
