#Cackletta deserves appreciation!

Cackletta and Queen Bean

These two are the underrated lesbian (lesBEAN) couple of the Mario and Luigi games. I wanted to give them some appreciation!

Chill by the window sill

Cackletta strikes me as the goth, antisocial, and clingy girlfriend while Beanie is the preppy, socialite, and wandering girlfriend. But, Beanie usually cuts people slack when she shouldn’t (so Cackletta steps in and calls people out on their bullshit). And Cackletta is often too harsh on people and has a hard time understanding them (so Beanie has to explain different perspectives to help Cackletta see the error of her ways). They’re at a beach and Cackletta is staring at everyone who lays eye contact on Beanie.

Comfort care! While many think Cackletta is bad for Beanie, they don’t see the moments where Beanie is completely broken and hurt while Cackletta listens intently and tries to support Beanie. Obviously Cackletta is distressed and has a massive heart for Beanie. Later she’ll construct plans to do away with whoever took advantage of Beanie’s unwavering kindness today.

I’m slightly headcanoning that Queen Bean prefers to close her eyes because of sensory issues. Too much light brings her so much pain and gives her headaches. She’s learned to navigate with little to no eye sight. Cackletta uses echolocation and has sensitive hearing.
