this has been in my drafts for months but i thought i’d post it, idk for funsies:
little cute things i noticed in the anastasia second nat broadway tour that made me go “oh. oh yes i love that”
- THE “thank you” “you’re welcome” BEFORE CROWD OF THOUSANDS OH MY GOODNESS
-and when they spring apart awkwardly ah i can't do this
- the way dmitry and anya sang “this chance is all WE’VE got” in we’ll go from there
- the dowager’s picture of anastasia
- young anastasia’s height, i know that’s so random but she was shorter than everyone else in the ensemble and it made me happy
- the snow on the curtain where it said anastasia before the show started it was so pretty
- willem’s “THE BIGGEST CON IN HISTORY”
- this isn’t really a little cute thing but the countess and the common man was done so well, like it usually makes me uncomfy (and i mean it still did a little bit) but it was really well done, they ate and left no crumbs
-speaking of ate and left no crumbs that's what EVERYONE DID THE ENTIRE SHOW i just gotta say it
- the way willem flicked his coat every time he sat down in everything to win so he didn’t sit on it lol
- as soon as lily and vlad kissed in cacm this little girl sitting near me yelled “YES!!” and it was so funny
- and when dmitry stepped on the dowager’s coat i heard someone go “OHHHHH DUDE NO”
- dimya, that’s all, just the way they couldn’t stop staring at each other
-they had so much chemistry ugh they were just so good
- and the stage picture at the end of crowd of thousands, like it was so pretty it made me cry even harder
- then as soon as the song ended and the blackout happened, i could see (through my tears) veronica and willem sprinting offstage for their quick changes, like they rlly were zoomin, that made me randomly happy lol
- i never knew i needed a curly-haired dmitry until i saw willem as dmitry, that’s all i’m saying
- the chills at the end of last dance of the romanovs, like that moment when young anastasia is the only one onstage before the blackout (ok i just realized that this moment is her getting shot?? how did i not know this before i read the script???)
- willem’s version of the bad dancing in learn to do it was so iconic
- i wanted to hear veronica sing crossing a bridge so bad, when it got to that part i was like “i know she’s not going to sing crossing a bridge but… what if she did, what if she just sang it for the funsies” because she would sound so good singing it stop
- christian was so funny with the “we have wonderful telephones” and “i have a sense of humor” lines
- speaking of, gleb is 100% my least favorite character, i literally hate him, but christian’s gleb was actually somewhat likeable so good job for that lol
- the way veronica had to lean down to kiss willem in the suitcase scene because they're similar heights sjskksskswlj help

Data Analytics to Combat Climate Change: Innovations in Environmental Sustainability
Climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our day, endangering ecosystems, economies, and livelihoods around the world. Addressing this complicated challenge necessitates innovative solutions, and data analytics is emerging as a valuable weapon in the battle against climate change. Researchers, politicians, and corporations are creating techniques to reduce environmental impact, adapt to changing conditions, and promote sustainability by leveraging massive volumes of data. This article delves into the unique uses of data analytics in combating climate change and achieving environmental sustainability.
Monitoring and predicting environmental trends:
Data analytics allows for the collecting, analysis, and interpretation of large datasets from a variety of sources, such as satellite imaging, weather stations, and sensors. Researchers can use complex algorithms and machine learning approaches to monitor environmental trends in real time, such as deforestation rates, sea level rise, and air quality. These insights aid in identifying places most sensitive to climate change and predicting future environmental difficulties, allowing for preventive interventions and resource allocation.
Optimal Renewable Energy Production and Distribution:
Renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power are critical to decreasing greenhouse gas emissions and combating climate change. Data analytics is critical for optimizing the generation and distribution of renewable energy. By analyzing weather trends, energy consumption patterns, and infrastructure data, energy suppliers may estimate energy demand, optimize power generation, and increase grid efficiency. Furthermore, machine learning algorithms can optimize the location of renewable energy installations to maximize output and cost-effectiveness.
Improving Climate Resilience and Adaptation:
Climate change is already affecting communities all around the world, resulting in more frequent and severe weather events, rising temperatures, and shifting precipitation patterns. Data analytics can improve climate resilience and adaptation by identifying sensitive areas, assessing risk factors, and devising tailored mitigation methods. By analyzing historical climatic data, socioeconomic indicators, and infrastructure vulnerabilities, policymakers may prioritize investments in resilient infrastructure, disaster preparedness, and community resilience programmes.
Enhancing Sustainable Agriculture and Land Management:
Agriculture is both a major source of greenhouse gas emissions and vulnerable to the effects of climate change. Data analytics can provide significant insights into sustainable farming methods and land management plans. Farmers may improve productivity, reduce environmental impact, and optimize resource use by analyzing soil health, weather patterns, crop yields, and market trends. Advanced analytics can also help discover opportunities for reforestation, land restoration, and biodiversity conservation, hence boosting ecosystem resilience and carbon sequestration.
Empowering Citizenship and Environmental Advocacy:
Data analytics enables individuals and communities to participate in environmental advocacy and climate action efforts. Citizen science programmes, mobile apps, and internet platforms enable citizens to collect environmental data, monitor local ecosystems, and participate in community-based research projects. Data analytics encourages cooperation, knowledge sharing, and collective action by democratizing access to environmental data and technologies, resulting in positive grassroots change.
Conclusion:
Data analytics has significant potential in combating climate change and promoting environmental sustainability. We can use data to monitor environmental trends, optimize renewable energy generation, increase climate resilience, improve agricultural practices, and empower communities to take action. However, realizing this promise necessitates collaboration across disciplines, sectors, and countries, as well as a dedication to ethical and transparent data practices. With sustained innovation and investment, data analytics can play a critical role in ensuring a more sustainable and resilient future for future generations.

#1050: "X considered harmful" is a phrasal template used in over 60 computer science essays. it was popularised by Dijkstra's 1968 letter "Go to considered harmful", dunking on the "go to" statement and advocating for proper structured programming instead. the title of the essay was actually changed from "a case against the goto statement" by the editor. a 1987 response to the letter, titled "'Go to considered harmful' considered harmful" criticising some of the claims, and the CACM magazine did a whole column of various arguments both ways under the title "'"Go to statement considered harmful" considered harmful' considered harmful?"
here's a bunch of my favourite essay title snowclones: "networks considered harmful for electronic mail", "sending XHTML as HTML considered harmful", of course "letter O considered harmful", "Star Trek considered harmful", "electron considered harmful" and "random waypoint considered harmful". the most ironic is probably "'considered harmful' essays considered harmful". the only not harmful one i could find is "Partially Overlapped Channels Not Considered Harmful" (unless we count "NULL considered harmful"...)

The executive order issued by the governor explicitly calls out the Biden regime for its failure to launch any form of rescue or evacuation operations for stranded Americans. It states that Floridians in Israel had reached out to the governor’s office and Florida’s congressional delegation for assistance. This is because they were not receiving timely help from the U.S. Embassy in Israel and saw no evidence of a cohesive rescue strategy from the U.S. Department of State.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the U.S. State Department’s Consular Affairs Crisis Management System (CACMS) has left many American citizens hanging in the wind, demanding them to sign promissory notes as a precondition for any assistance in evacuating from the crisis-hit region.
The Biden regime’s assistance to Americans wishing to depart Israel will come at a financial cost. Specifically, the email states that “departure assistance is provided via a loan from the U.S. government, which requires travelers to sign a promissory note (an agreement to repay) prior to departure.”
The communications manager at the American Accountability Foundation, Yitz Friedman, shared a harrowing tale of his experience while trapped in Israel in an X post.
Friedman brought to light the abysmal failure of the U.S. State Department to aid its citizens in crisis situations.
Friedman and his wife found themselves trapped in Israel after their original flight back to the U.S. was canceled. When they reached out to the U.S. embassy for assistance, Friedman recounts that they were basically told to “pound sand.”

Place a Democrat administration in high Public office and without fail they will disgrace America. There hasn't been a single Democrat Administration since Kennedy that hasn't disgraced America. First abandoning American citizens in Afghanistan and now this. I really don't even care if this is a 100% Political move by Rick DeSantis, I really don't. At least Rob is acting like an AMERICAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!
