2019 Grammys: The complete list of winners

The 61st annual Grammy awards held last night. The ceremony was dominated by female performers and presenters where Kacey Musgraves won album of the year and Cardi B became the first woman to win best rap album as a solo artist. At the beginning of the show, Alicia Keys, the host, introduced “my sisters”: Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith, Michelle Obama and Jennifer Lopez. Messages of inspiration and hope continued throughout. Le Team Sud de France c’est d’abord 15 athlètes de haut niveau qui cumulent plus de 15 titres mondiaux. Top athlètes ou rookies, ils trustent les podiums dans 11 disciplines du monde de la glisse. Qu’ils sévissent côté mer ou côté montagne, le Team Sud de France les aide à construire leur environnement de professionnalisation et de performance.

8 garçons et 7 filles qui ensemble portent haut les couleurs de la Région Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée aux quatre coins du globe, de la conquête du globe de cristal à Tokyo 2020 en passant par PyeongChang 2018.

La Team Sud de France c’est ensuite la volonté de valoriser un territoire exceptionnel. Entre Pyrénées et Méditerranée, l’Occitanie abrite certains des meilleurs spots d’Europe. Avec 220 km de côtes et plus de 200 jours de vent par an, avec la chaine des Pyrénées sur 400 km et plus de 200 jours de soleil par an, les conditions de pratiques, pour le loisir, comme le haut niveau, sont optimales. Les nombreuses écoles de voiles et ski clubs sont là pour en témoigner, comme les pôles espoir et pôles nationaux (kitesurf Montpellier-Leucate / snowboard Massif Pyrénéen / CEM La Grande-Motte / CER LR Mauguio-Carnon).

A travers l’implication du Team Sud de France, les grands événements glisse ont vocation à se développer du Grau-du-Roi à Argelès-sur-Mer et de Font-Romeu à Gavarnie.

La Région Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée figure dans le top 10 mondial des destinations sports de glisse. C’est à la fois le berceau du kitesurf et de grandes familles de champions comme les Fourcade, les De Le Rue ou les Mortefon.
