Assorted Promare headcanons:

Mad Burnish and Burning Rescue centered.

Gueira and Meis are basically a committed couple and have been for years, but both of them have trauma around commitment and get really uncomfortable with any label for their relationship that's more serious than "friends with benefits."

They don't have last names, so post-movie they use the name of the city where they awakened as their last names when they need to have an "official" last name.

That's relatively common for the Burnish if they got disowned by their families. After all, who wants to be stuck with a name that ties you to people who screwed you over when you needed them the most?

(The settlement also has a Philadelphia, a Chicago, three NYCs, and the Toledo twins.)

Ignis's dislike for Vulcan is because Vulcan's actions got a former member of Burning Rescue killed, and he didn't have any real consequences for it.

Varys has two older sisters and a younger brother he's very close to, and the Truss family has a monthly get-together where Varys is the jungle gym for his nieces and nephews.

Aina is extremely conflicted over what her sister did. Heris did the right thing in the end, and she's genuinely trying to make up for the wrongs she committed before. But they were some big wrongs.

Lucia interned at the Foresight Foundation during college, and came to hate corporations so much she changed her entire career trajectory.

The "Remi's girlfriend is an alligator" thing is a running gag at BR. She's actually just a Florida Gators super-fan.

I might do a part 2 with my Galo and Lio headcanons, too.
