Breville barista express not generating pressure
Breville barista express not generating pressure I have a Breville barista express about 8 years old - it used to work perfectly, could pull a perfect espresso shot, etc. Now when I start it up it makes a buzzing sound instead of the typical startup sound, and trying to pull a shot yields NO pressure. I even just ran the cleaning cycle to see if it would max out the pressure like it usually does when you run cleaning, and it was sounding faint/buzzy and the pressure gauge didn’t move a bit. I know it’s not the typical issue of grind/amount because the machine literally doesn’t generate any pressure whatsoever even with the cleaning cycle. Is there any fix I can do at home or do I have to send it in? Submitted December 24, 2022 at 08:55AM by beccatheplantmom https://ift.tt/ot6eEFn via /r/Coffee

Seeking Breville Advice
Seeking Breville Advice Hello everyone!Simply getting sick of my Inissia Nespresso machine. Looking to upgrade to a Breville.Top contender right now is the Barista Express Manual Espresso machine (love that it has the coffee grinder), but I keep seeing people recommend that it’s better to buy the machine and grinder separately as this one isn’t so great. If I were to do so, I’d probably get the bambino and then buy the smart grinder pro separately.I also see the “Breville duo temp pro on Amazon, but not seeing it on their site or other sites, maybe it’s an older model? Was considering that with the grinder. What do you recommend? I’m sure there’s tons of threads on this but is the grinder in the express manual espresso machine really that bad? I’m a newbie to using these and just want a really good tasty coffee!Price wise, in CAD, the one with the grinder is $749.99. I haven’t seen it any lower, appears to be boxing week specials. Any tips on best places to purchase as well?Thank you! Submitted December 23, 2022 at 10:13AM by Strict_Bookkeeper758 https://ift.tt/4l2G1aV via /r/Coffee

Need help choosing my first espresso machine
Need help choosing my first espresso machine Hello Everyone,I only drink milk based coffee and I have been using a Moka Pot with pre ground coffee for the last 10 years. Thinking of buying my first espresso machine.I usually drink 250 ml of Milk with 125 ml of coffee brewed in a Moka Pot. So I need something that can brew at least a double shot of espresso. I have narrowed down to these three options -Breville Barista Express - $800 (CAD)Breville Barista Pro - $960 (CAD)Breville Barista Touch - $1360 (CAD)I narrowed down to these three options because all of them have a grinder within the machine, and they all look quite user friendly from all the videos that I have watched. Although the Breville Barista Touch is a bit out of my budget, I am still considering it because the the automatic milk steaming and presets, and because it will most likely be the only machine that I will ever buy until it stops working. Is there any significant difference in these three models?I am also open to considering any other options within the $1000-$1300 (CAD) or even cheaper including a grinder. Is there anything else that you would be a better choice? Thanks! Submitted December 14, 2022 at 05:14PM by imclawday https://ift.tt/GijlaxF via /r/Coffee

Why does my Breville Espresso Machine makes one coffee then stops working?
Why does my Breville Espresso Machine makes one coffee then stops working? I have a Breville BES870XL Barista Express Espresso Machine. When I make one coffee, the machine works fine but if I want to make two coffees, one after the other, the machine sends all the water to the overflow reservoir for the second coffee. Why does this happen?  Submitted December 11, 2022 at 11:15AM by komodocracker https://ift.tt/PWNSiHk via /r/Coffee
