Using Realms for Multiplayer

Realms are servers that are accessible 24/7 and require no host to play.

After joining the Realm for the first time, you will be allowed to return to it at any time from your Friends tab. 'Minecraft Earth' will Shut down On June 30th

Just over an year after introducing Minecraft Earth in the US, Microsoft announced this week it would shut down the game later this year. Minecraft Earth players have until June 30, 2021, to play the augmented reality game before Microsoft shuts down its servers , and it's no longer available to download from the app marketplaces.

Developer Mojang Studios attributed the shutdown to the coronavirus pandemic and all the changes to daily life that it has brought. "Minecraft Earth was designed around the freedom of movement and collaboration which are now almost impossible to do in the current world situation," the studio said. Mojang, like Niantic's Pokemon Go, had modified the game to allow it to be more accessible for players at home. The changes weren't enough, however.

Minecraft developer Mojang has announced they will be collaborating with Telltale Games to create a new story mode for the game. Mojang promises that it will be a narrative-driven experience about Minecraft, but didn't expand on what it would be like.

The first episode will be released some time in 2015 and will be available on Xbox consoles, PlayStation consoles, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android-based devices. That's right. ATLWOOD Whatever system you're playing on you'll be able to play the story mode of Minecraft.

Minecraft: Story Mode will be released on a regular basis. It's like Telltale's other games The Wolf Among Us or The Walking Dead. Minecraft maker Mojang plans to launch a spin-off game

Mojang Minecraft, the maker of Minecraft, is creating an off-shoot game inspired by its block-building game.

It's named Minecraft: Story Mode and will be an episodic video game that is set in the familiar Minecraft world but introduces new characters to the setting.

The game is produced by Telltale Games which has produced several other episodic titles.

The first episode will be available on consoles, PCs and Macs in 2015, along with Android devices.

At this point, very little details about what the game will look similar to has been released. Mojang has created a short game for browsers called InfoQuest II to show what it could appear like.

In a blog post Mojang announced that the game would be developed with assistance of the Minecraft community.

It was designed to assure players that Story Mode would not be like the violent and bloody games Telltale has produced before now. Recent Telltale games include The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands and games that are based on Game of Thrones and zombie thriller The Walking Dead.

"Telltale's game will be similar in tone to Minecraft itself," said Mojang, "though it's a totally original design that is influenced by our game."

Minecraft's Ray-tracing Beta Launches on PC this Week

Ten years have passed since the game's launch, and Minecraft continues to be one of the most popular games of the present and now, it's getting a makeover by Ray Tracing. This is the best in gaming graphics. It emulates the physical behavior and lighting to give a game an immersive, cinematic-quality rendering.

NVIDIA first announced it was working on these realistic visuals for Minecraft in 2013 - and now they'll be rolling out to Windows players on April 16th. The beta version is currently in beta. It will offer the familiar Minecraft single-player experience, with shadows and reflections ray-traced by rays as well as lighting and custom realistic materials. In addition, you'll be able explore six brand-new RTX worlds that were created by community creators. These worlds comprise Aquatic Adventure, Imagination Island and Neon District, are available for free on the Minecraft Marketplace to players with Minecraft Windows 10.
