Heyo
Glad you're back in spite of Tumblr's shittiness! Hope things are well.
I asked this before your page was banned, so since you reblogged the AA Ask Game again I'll ask here as well.
Questions 10, 11, and 13?
Thank you so much! Things are the way they are-- but we persevere! We lost all the stuff in our inbox of course, so thank you for sending this again!
10. Favourite trial from all the games?
If we count Great Ace Attorney then it's definitely Return of the Great Departed Soul, with Enoch, and Sithe, and the magic trick and all of that fun stuff.
If we are only counting the Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice trilogies, however, it's probably got to be the last case of the original trilogy, Bridge to the Turnabout, which I expect to be an extremely popular opinion. Bridge has everything-- big reunions, shocking twists, playing as Edgeworth for the first time.
An exorcism in open court XD
Shout out to Turnabout Academy in Dual Destinies though, for the lore and the characters. What a fun trial!
11. Least favorite trial?
In terms of mainline games, either Turnabout Bigtop-- which is a popular choice for worst, and for good reason. Moe the clown is so, so annoying.
Runner up is Recipe for the Turnabout, which I just hate. IDK. it might be all the gross queerphobia around Jean Armstrong, it might be that the case just sucks. XD
But if we're counting spinoffs: Turnabout Ablaze from Ace Attorney Investigations is agonizing and goes in circles for ages. Please, please let this case die.
13. Favourite minor character?
Straight up tossup between Sebastian Debeste (he's a main character in the spin off but never seen in the mainline series) and Myriam Scuttlebutt.
I am the world's biggest Myriam Scuttlebutt fan. She is so fucking precious oh my god. 💖 The interaction between her and Simon is adorable.

Writer’s Month Day 19: Mythology
Set in about chapter 3ish or so, time-wise!
Mythology had always fascinated Angelique. For most her age, it came from TV, growing up around Disney's Hercules and shows like Xena. Angel however, she had gotten her passion for it from something else entirely. Her papa worked as a curator at the Louvre. It had always been Angelique's favorite place in all of Paris. The Louvre. She loved visiting her papa at work. And she still remembered, when she had been really little and the only child still, for just how long her papa would entertain her. He would give her private tours in his time off and even during his lunch-breaks when she was lucky. The paintings were pretty, but what had always fascinated her the most were the statues. The renaissance statues of ancient heroes. She would sit in front of them for hours, staring in awe at every detail and listening to her papa tell her the stories behind it.
Her parents had mistaken that interest for her wanting to become an artist. Her mamma had been incredibly excited about it – Adelheide had always been an artistic soul and she had thought she would get to share her passion with her daughter too. Especially considering the bond Angelique shared with her papa over the museum-visits so she too wanted something of her own. She tried a lot, tried teaching Angelique to draw and paint and sculpt, and then she moved on to photography – and that was where they figured it out. Angel hated being behind the camera. But in front of it? Twirling, posing, just like the amazing statues. She wanted to be immortalized posing in fun dynamic ways just like the statues. She loved modeling.
She was sixteen when she took her first modeling gig, after a lot of begging with her parents. Much to everyone's surprise, she blew up. Then again, she was a delicate, very fair white-skinned blonde with large, blue eyes. She was what sold. All too soon, France loved her. Then, Europe loved her – and then the US did. At nineteen, Angel moved to Los Angeles to work for Gold Standard.
“You've been even more chipper than usual, Liebling”, murmured her boyfriend. [German: darling]
He had rolled onto his side to wrap his arms around Angel's waist and keep her in place where she sat on the edge of their bed. She smiled softly as she turned to look down at him while he, in snail-pace, crawled up to rest his head in her lap. Gently, she started running her fingers through his wild ginger curls as Sebastian looked up at her with sleepy, bright eyes.
“Did I wake you, mon amour?”, asked Angel softly. “I'm sorry. You should sleep some more.”
“How can I when my girlfriend is looking radiant like a goddess?”, asked Sebastian.
“I look like always”, laughed Angel confused while tying her favorite bow into her hair.
“Yes. Like I said. A radiant goddess”, confirmed Sebastian.
He smiled and buried his face in Angel's stomach while she laughed even louder. “You're such a charmer. Come on, I have to go to work, you have to let go of me.”
“...Can't I just come with you?”, hummed Sebastian. “I love watching you pose. You look so happy and excited when you do. Pretty please?”
“Basty”, laughed Angel and shook her head. “You know you can't. Company secrets and all. No one is allowed to see it before it is all done. Besides... you have work to go to too?”
“I know”, sighed Sebastian. “But it's not nearly as exciting as spending a day with you, my love.”
“Truly, truly cheesy”, commented Angel and flipped his nose.
He grinned up at her. “Okay, fine. You're right. I'm meeting Mel for breakfast.”
“See?”, chimed Angel and reached for her pearl-earrings. “Have a good day, Sebastian.”
“You too. I'll see you tonight”, replied Sebastian and kissed Angel's cheek.
With a spring in her steps did Angel leave the apartment and head to work. She got six drinks from a café on her work there and left one coffee with the receptionist, who always had a smile for everyone. Upstairs, she first went to visit her best friend Joss. Every morning, after waking up, Angel quickly texted Joss to ask for the preferred pronouns of the day.
“Looking grumpy as ever, my dear”, chimed Angel and kissed Joss' cheek.
“Mh?”, grunted Joss, blinking a couple times. “Been here for two hours already. Got to settle a dispute between Lizzy and Aline about color-schemes. Had to navigate... three galas for Miss Gold. So yes, the day started off irritating enough to make me grumpy.”
“Good thing I brought you your favorite tea then”, smiled Angel, handing it to her. “Join me?”
Joss looked contemplative for a moment before he decided that he might as well check in on the biggest project they currently had. With the tea in one hand, Joss got up and followed Angel toward the shooting, where Noxia was already in the middle of barking orders and setting everything up for today's shoot. Angel stopped in front of Noxia and handed her a pitch-black coffee.
“Here. So there will be less yelling”, smiled Angel, kissing Noxia's cheeks.
“...Thank you”, grumbled Noxia. “Go get changed. And make-up. Shoo.”
Angelique smiled knowingly at her before making her way into make-up, handing the next cup off to her make-up artist. Now there were only two left, one for herself and the other – for her partner.
“Coffee”, groaned Tony relieved as he sank into the chair next to her. “Blessed coffee. Thank you.”
“You're a very bad Brit”, noted Angel teasingly. “You should drink tea.”
“Coffee is one of the few things Americans do right”, stated Tony seriously. “Few.”
“So snarky. Comes into our country, takes jobs away from hard-working hot American models and then complaining about the country”, noted Noxia very dryly. “Typical Brit. Get changed. Go.”
Tony offered her the most dazzling smile and very slowly took a sip of his coffee. Joss chuckled as he came to lean against the vanity and waiting while Tony and Angel hurried off to get into their costumes. Gorgeous, well-fit classic Greece style but made of fur. Angel looked at herself in the mirror, smiling at how powerful she felt like that, with the silver tiara.
“Artemis and Apollo were always my favorites, you know?”, commented Tony from the changing room next to her. “I don't know, the sun and the moon as siblings, actual siblings who also share something – the realm of celestial bodies and also both being archers. I always liked that. All the other gods were always so... so all over the place, with no real connection or sense to their realms.”
“I always liked the duality of Artemis and Apollo”, tagged Joss on when the two joined the others again. “The strength of the female moon, the softness of the male sun.”
Angel and Tony took their seats again to get their make-up and hair done. “I guess Artemis and Apollo are pretty cool. Though personally, I always loved Poseidon the most. I've always been a fan of The Little Mermaid and living under the sea.”
“Yeah, that checks out”, confirmed Tony when he side-eyed her.
Joss smiled at them with a thoughtful look. He had to admit, he had always found the Greek gods interesting too. Now even more than before. His fingers round his cuff-link, the one with the Gemini gem on it. Gemini, the former companion of Athena. The gods used to just be stories Joss found interesting because they mirrored a different culture than the one he had grown up in – and in a way, he had liked to dive into a different culture, put a new paint-job on his soul to distance himself from his family and those who had turned their backs on him. But now he looked at the gods with different eyes. They had just been human. Humans, who had bonded with aliens to gain their special powers and abilities, fighting evil and turning into the stuff of legends. Over the millennia, the Zodiacs had bonded with so many heroes throughout different countries.
He watched how Tony and Angel, in full make-up and costume, got ready for their shoot and he watched them. Artemis and Apollo. There was something so fierce and authentic to them that it felt more like a window into the past. Artemis and Apollo were not just myths, pieces of fiction, they had been real people. And Joss found himself wondering, had they looked anything like Tony and Angel, or entirely different? What had the been like, their personalities and life? There was so much to learn and so much to see, not just the present and the past, but also the future.

“You’re soaking wet-”
“Well, Sebastian thought snow angels would be a fun way to break routine.”
For @madpineapple and @kingsmansecretsanta
Prompt: “More headacannons for the pairings listed. Any of them. Either seasonal cheer or more serious ones will do as well”
Roxy doesn’t have a great relationship with her family, so she prefers to spend her holidays alone. By contrast, Merlin is very close with his family and usually spends holidays (when he isn’t running missions) with them
Roxy’s first Christmas with Merlin’s family is a shock to her; Merlin’s sister has six children and she has no idea how to appear as “Uncle Hamish’s girlfriend” (”Am I Miss Morton? Aunt Roxanne? Miss Roxy?”) to them and his family
While skeptical of the age difference, Merlin’s family ends up adoring Roxy and insist that he bring her around more frequently (The children settle on "Aunt Roxy” and, in the case of the younger ones, “Auntie Oxy”)
Merlin’s family is in Scotland, so they fly and then rent a car to visit them, which Merlin loves (he’s a big fan of driving and he’s pleased to have relearned the ability with his prosthetics so quickly); Roxy usually hates long drives, but she doesn’t mind snoozing on Merlin’s shoulder
Merlin isn’t the biggest fan of decorating, mostly because he is rarely home and thus can’t enjoy the work. Roxy likes to get everything set up at once, so she can enjoy the work when she is able to be home. She slowly pulls Merlin to her side of things and, admittedly, he does like coming back from running missions to fairy lights and ornaments
Their dogs adore the snow; Sebastian (Roxy’s poodle) and Apollo (Merlin’s doberman) run them ragged on walks when there’s snow, often refusing to reenter their home at times (Merlin, despite being quite the disciplinarian, often doesn’t have the heart to force them in and will wait it out until they decide to go inside)
Roxy is more of a coffee fan, while Merlin prefers tea. Neither are much inclined to hot chocolate, but Roxy will make them each a cup on Christmas Eve with a dash of bourbon in it
Merlin in the asshole that puts his cold feet on Roxy’s legs in the morning; she will retaliate by hiding his glasses or switching them out with her own and feigning ignorance
Roxy’s favorite holiday tradition is wrapping gifts (she’s very meticulous and intricate with the task); Merlin’s favorite is exploring Christmas markets
The first time Roxy catches Merlin with a sprig of mistletoe, he says he finds the tradition rather silly and that he can kiss her any time. But he can’t help smiling whenever he sees it because it reminds him of her
Merlin isn’t the biggest coffee drinker, but when Roxy urges him to try some holiday drinks of coffee chains, he is ADDICTED
Both are the sort of people that insist that they should reign it in when it comes to gifts, only to utterly spoil the other and then they are just surrounded on Christmas morning by presents, gift wrap, and shame
Merlin in enjoys the process of baking, but doesn’t really like holiday cookies, while Roxy hates to bake, but does enjoy the sweets. She claims they make the perfect team in this way and Merlin reluctantly agrees

I don’t know anything about movies so do it. :-D answer as many as you can from 1-60
Oh my gooooodddddd. Soph this will be my death. Okay, okay, I got this.
1. A movie you’ve seen most times in the cinema.
I’ve never seen a movie more than once in theater, but I kind of wish that I would’ve gone to see Gifted more than once bc crying in the theater is an e x p e r i e n c e.
2. Your most rewatched movie.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
3. A movie you quote on a daily basis.
I just quoted Mean Girls earlier today.
4. Favorite movie soundtrack.
The Greatest Showman.
5. Top 5 films of your favorite actor and actress.
I’ll choose Sebastian Stan for this (even tho Richard Armitage is my favorite):
-the Bronze
-I, Tonya
-the Martian
-the Captain America trilogy
-Gone
Meg Ryan:
-Fan Girl
-Anastasia
-Sleepless in Seattle
-You’ve Got Mail
-City of Angels
6. Top 5 performances of your favorite actor and actress.
Seb’s are the same except replace Gone with Political Animals, his performance as TJ is iconic and I’m so sad they ended that show. Meg’s are the same too.
7. A movie storyline you wished you had actually lived.
I’ve always dreamt of being apart of the Fast & Furious movies soooo
8. A movie that reminds you of your mom.
Any of the Star Wars.
9. A movie thar reminds you of your dad.
Grease.
10. Favorite movies from your childhood.
My parents didn’t care what I really watched as a kid so a lot of my favorites consist of actual kids movies and horror movies. Disney movies like Robin Hood (I loved both Disney’s version and Prince of Thieves), Mulan, Cinderella, Aladdin, Lion King 2. And then other movies like Underworld, Van Helsing, Halloween, and Resident Evil. I had a strange obsession with the third Resident Evil.
11. Favorite quote(s).
I can’t remember the exact line, but “that kid from Brooklyn who didn’t know how to walk away from a fight, I’m following him,” which Bucky says to Steve in the first Cap film. And obv any Mean Girls quote.
12. Top 5 female performances.
-Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter-Emilia Clarke in Me Before You-Helen Mirren in Winchester-Michelle Pfeiffer in Grease 2-Michelle Pfeiffer in Stardust
13. Top 5 male performances.
-Martin Freeman as Everett Ross-Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange-Sebastian Stan in the Bronze-Leonardo DiCaprio in the Departed-Jack Nicholson in the Departed
14. Favorite year for movies.
I don’t think I have a specific year? Although 2018 has been a fantastic year for movies so far. I do have a preference for movies from 90s and early 2000s.
18. An underrated actor.
A year ago I would’ve said Sebastian Stan, but he’s recently been doing a lot of big things and has like four movies he’s doing that he plays a main character in. Now I’ll shoot for Blair Redford.
19. An underrated actress.
Emilia Clarke. People need to appreciate her more.
20. An underrated director.
Taika Waititi.
21. An overrated actor.
I’ve never cared for George Clooney tbh.
22. An overrated actress.
I love her, but Scarlett Johansson.
23. An overrated director.
Woody Allen. Not even sorry.
24. A film you wish you had seen on the big screen.
Every MCU movie besides Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther. I watched Black Panther with my sister and saw Guardians at a drive-in. I had to wait to see all the others :(
25. A movie you’ve seen that you think no one else here will have heard of?
Like Sunday, Like Rain. Please watch it. It’s absolutely amazing.
26. Favorite movie characters.
Oh my gosh. Okay. Doctor Strange. Bucky Barnes. Thorin Oakenshield. Lance Tucker. Everett Ross. Jason Bourne. Owen and Deckard Shaw. There’s more, but that’s who I can think of rn.
27. A film that was better than the book.
I personally prefer the Hobbit movies over the book, but the book is great too.
28. Best Remake.
The Goodbye Girl!
29. Your first favorite actor.
I wanna say it’s Josh Hartnett? Maybe Paul Rudd?? I loved the Halloween movies as a kid and Josh was in H2O while Paul was in the Curse of Michael Myers and I loved them both. As a kid I didn’t really care much about the actors, but I’ve realized a lot of people I liked in movies as a kid are now some of my favorites.
30. Your first favorite actress.
Like I said, loved the Halloween movies. Jamie Lee Curtis. Also Milla Jovavich.
31. Favorite animated film.
I will always, with my entire heart, love Lion King 2. I still have the VHS tape.
32. Your most anticipated films.
Ocean’s 8. Robin Hood. Solo. Ant-Man and the Wasp. Incredibles 2. I wasn’t that into Venom, but after seeing the trailer, I’m pumped.
33. Last movie that disappointed you.
The Apparition was made a while back, but i didn’t watch it til recent and I really didn’t like it whatsoever.
34. Last movie that surpassed your expectations.
Like the Apparition, Dance of the Dead was made a while ago, but I watched it about two months back and oh. My. God. It was glorious. Watch it. It’ll be worth it.
37. Share an unpopular film opinion you have.
I love romance and I don’t mind seeing it in movies that don’t necessarily need it. I mean, of course I draw the line somewhere, but for example, Kili and Tauriel’s romance in the films? I know it wasn’t in the book, and a lot of people didn’t like it, but I loved it.
38. Favorite Oscar win/speech.
This is a tie between two speeches that happened right after one another at the 2017 Oscars. Gael García Bernal’s speech before presenting an award, and the Zootopia directors’ speech when they came up to accept that award. It’s truly a wonderful thing and I remember watching it and being so grateful for people like them.
39. Biggest Oscar snub(s).
Literally. Every. Time. Leonardo. DiCaprio. Lost.
40. Who do you think is overdue for another Oscar nomination/win?
Tom Hanks.
41. How many movies have you seen (rough estimation)?
Close to 1,000, I’d think.
42. A movie that made you go ‘wtf was that’.
The Apparition and The Shape of Water. At least The Shape of Water was actually good 👀👀
43. A film that scarred you.
Oh my god, I don’t know the name, but it was something that was on tv at like 2 am when I slept in the living room one time as a kid and it terrified me. It was something about werewolves and made me question my love of werewolves for days.
44. Most movies watched in a single day.
I once watched 7 of the Fast & Furious movies in one day.
45. A film that always makes you cry.
Gifted. I cried three times when I saw it in theaters and I cry every time I rewatch it.
46. A film that always makes you laugh.
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
47. Movies that you think everyone should watch (not necessarily your favorites).
The Jason Bourne series. 10 Things I Hate About You. Blended. Back to School.
48. A movie that took you a couple viewings to appreciate.
Princess & the Frog. Now it’s one of my favorite Disney movies.
49. A book that you want to see adapted to the big screen.
Either I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson or Stalking Jack The Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco.
50. A book you really, really, really don’t want to see made into a film.
I love the third Percy Jackson book so so much, and I’d kill to see that scene where they’re all on Apollo’s sun chariot on the big screen, but if it turned out like the other two Percy Jackson movies I don’t think I’d ever forgive myself.
54. Favorite coming-of-age film.
Like Sunday, Like Rain.
55. Favorite superhero film.
The first Captain America just bc it’s nostalgic for both me and those characters, and Doctor Strange. I love the Winter Soldier too so I might as well include it.
57. Movies you know you should watch, but can’t bring yourself to do it?
Thor: Ragnarok. That’s the only one I’m absolutely sure that I need to watch.
58. Favorite genres.
I’m a big rom-com and action geek tbh.
59. Least favorite genres.
Not a huge fan of paranormal type horrors, but once in a while I’ll find one I like (like Winchester).
60. Biggest movie pet peeve.
I’m not too picky, I guess? I just don’t like when they don’t give enough details so the story doesn’t make sense or they mess up and the facts don’t match up.
Yep. It’s official. Sophia, I’m dead.
