Can't stop thinking about fair by the amazing devils as a keitor song. Like an older version of them learning to rule and live and love together. It's very soft and devoted and I love it. Talk by hozier as well as a more sexy and no less devoted song for them. I'm just going in circles tbh in my playlists finding soft and kind songs for them and hozier fits everywhere but I'm trying not to repeat things you've undoubtedly heard before

You would not believe the pain I am going through listening to Daylight by David Kushner while rereading the chapters following keith’s encounter with “rhyahl”. It fits SO WELL with the scenes in Lotor’s room and even the one at Keith’s balcony AND the Talk in the last chapter AAAAAAAA *screams into the void*

so I think I must have heard this one before because I vaguely recognise the chorus, but I hadn't really listened to it, and that first verse is just—

Hey flower, do you ever find a song that like perfectly describes a relationship between two characters that it was practically written for them. Yeah anyway listen to the song Never Love an Anchor by the Crane Wives because to me it describes what Keith’s and Krolias relationship is (the voltron creators were cowards for not showing more of them before the stupid 2 year skip). The guilt, and yearning, ugh it’s so good. Also go listen to Broken Crown by Mumfords and Sons for Lotor and Zarkon

I have been busy disecting the songs in order from your little blade spotify playlists and let me tell you, War of Hearts and the songs following it in Keith’s playlist is Worriying me with a capital W about their future. Also, Without You is giving me too much Zarkon and Honerva vibes which is giving me a different kind of anxiety when it is in Keith’s songs and don’t get me started on Battlefield 🥲 I know you can’t spoil but please tell me it doesn’t get that bad (Who am i kidding, it wouldn’t be keitor without some serious angst, and really proud of the way i already loved most of the songs you put 🙃)

Hello it’s the devils backbone anon and I have more soul crushing keitor songs, first there’s we’ll never have sex by Leith Ross, I’m mean the lyrics “If I said you can never touch me You'd come over and say I looked lovely” don’t tell me Lotor wouldn’t do that. Another song would be First love/ late spring by Mitski, very sad but has good keitor vibes like the lyrics “And I was so young When I behaved Twenty five Yet now I find I've grown into A tall child” applies to both of them :(

I just found an absolutely gorgeous song that captures keitor vibes, it’s called “Devils Backbone” by The Civil Wars. it’s definitely a keitor song but from Keith perspective, like the lines ”Oh Lord, Oh Lord, what do I do? By all means, feel free! I can't promise I'll add them to my personal playlist (as I've said before, I have been exceedingly particular with the song choice and order to get it to reflect the narrative as closely as possible) but I'll certainly consider them! Hi I see your Bloody Mary by Lady Gaga is Lotor and Keith's relationship, and I raise you Judas by Lady Gaga is how Voltron (at least specific members) VIEWS their relationship from an outside perspective....

Hello flowerpot! Hope your doing well. Just came by to suggest two songs for the LB playlist called “Castle” by Halsey. thought it would fit in nicely with the Keitor vibes (obvi). In castle, it states “Sick of all these people talking”, “tired of all these cameras flashing”, and “Now my neck is opened wide, begging for a fist around it”. First two are pretty simple to decipher, while the third one is indicating Keith being vulnerable towards Lotor! Plus, the talk of an old man is Keith & Zarkon

(cont.) ‘Nother suggestion (since the other one couldn’t fit it)! It’s called “Bottom of the deep blue sea” by MISSIO. What made it a definite was “Still don’t know your name, miss honey” and “let’s go up in flames” which is a tad bit more vague, but it’s still kinda like they will both be burned by the public’s eyes but will always stick together, and/or they will both ablaze eachother in a fiery passion! Sincerely hope you’ll consider these suggestions! ❤️ p.s I have other songs, but may be too vague.

I’m personally a big fan of Halsey’s music, and a lot of her stuff is very vibey and absolutely suits the keitor dynamic so there’s no real need to convince me of that one lmao. As for the MISSIO song, it’s as you’ve said: “Welcome to my cage, little lover / Attempt to rearrange with you, baby / Still don't know your name, miss honey,” is almost hilariously on-point for Lotor’s pov early on in the narrative, so I fully endorse both of these!

oh my god I actually only discovered this when I first saw this ask and thought to check, but yES THERE IS?? I ended up listening to it while finishing up chapter 21 and I’ve got to admit, the lovely individual responsible has definitely encompassed the right Vibes™ for the keitor dynamic, so I’m kind of in love ♡
