nothing like being forced to explain why you did something wrong and then being screamed at for misremembering something in attempt to ‘distort the truth’

#I am in agony #Living with parents as an adult is so tough sometimes you do one little thing wrong #And then they MAKE you explain why when you don’t even want to bc you know it’ll escalate it #And then they go ballistic bc your memory doesn’t align with theirs so it’s an ‘ODD attempt to defend yourself’ #Even when you immediately back down and tell them that bc it’s them saying so you believe it #And that I must have just misremembered it #Argh #rants and rambles
