oooooh pokemon company want to put all their energy into z-a sooooo bad. You will not release a half assed johto or unova game you want soooo badly to make a good game that everyone enjoys.

One game a year that's right!' #And then they bitch about said games being dogwater #GAME DEVELOPMENT TAKES TIME #ESPECIALLY IF THEY’RE DOING A STRUCTURED APPROACH AND HAVE TO DO A SHIT TON OF DOCUMENTATION #EVEN IF THEY ALREADY HAVE THE POKEMON MODELS & THE BASE MECHANICS DOWN #they still have to: make the region itself #Decide which pokemon will be in the region #Decide where they will be in the region #Design the trainers #Design their teams #Make the story #Make the region story trainers and pokemon feel coherent #And they're probably designing new pokemon and new megas as well #It's gonna take a fuckin while! And that's ok! Means the final product will be better! #Even with stuff carrying over and probably having a bigger team now; remember it took like 7 years to make the first pokemon game. #Although the team size is probably evened out by things like 3d modelling.
