#phantom of the opera #erik/christine #love never dies #The image of Erik in “Box 5” watching Christine sing his aria and her reaching out to him will be burned into my brain for eternity #just absolute chaos in the worst best way #It was the how they tried to redirect the show to make the characters more dynamic and sympathetic and it worked #But also the book is just so frustrating #You have Celinde singing her heart out and Norm's Erik being a pleading mess begging Christine for a second chance #And she's not even unconvinced cause she already doesnt like Raoul she just wants to see how serious Erik is about his proposal #Also Gustave was such a firecracker like the perfect mix of E/C as an offspring #And Meg was so sad cause she wanted both Erik AND Christine's attention #Like she was more so jealous of Gustave than jealous at Christine and was tired of the people she looked up to not caring about her #But yeah they took the Baby Daddy Drama to the MAX which is what I think is the best part of the show so I was thrilled
